Este artículo versa sobre procesos de acumulación de ventajas y desventajas en trayectorias de movilidad social tomando en consideración el género. Para indagar cómo las trayectorias de clase obrera en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires son moldeadas por el género en términos de acumulación de (des)ventajas, se realizaron entrevistas biográficas a personas de distintos orígenes sociales dentro de la clase obrera. Las familias con situaciones más estables pudieron transmitir recursos variados que hicieron más probables las espirales de acumulación de ventajas. Dentro de ellas, algunos varones pudieron aprovecharlas al máximo, mientras que, para las mujeres, fueron más recurrentes los obstáculos.

La Investigación tuvo como objetivo demostrar que la implementación de un Sistema Informático multiplataforma de gestión documentaria agiliza los procesos y minimizan los tiempos de registros, búsqueda y emisión de reportes de la municipalidad distrital de buenos aires. En el desarrollo del sistema informático se utilizó la metodología de desarrollo de software RUP, cuyas fases ayudan a crear aplicaciones eficientes y a las necesidades de los usuarios; para complementar esta metodología se empleó el lenguaje de programación php, que por su robustez permite crear aplicaciones muy eficientes, en el almacenamiento de los datos se dispuso utilizar el sistema de administración de base de datos MySQL. Studies about the involvement of communities in patrimonialization processes tend to focus on isolated cases without considering the impact of the problem on the whole society. Therefore, this paper describes two social mobilizations cases in architectural heritage defence (Olavarría, Argentina) to expand the analysis concerning the different actors' perceptions of the issue. Methodologically, we analyze different sources, such as social networks, interviews and a questionnaire to 390 inhabitants. The results contextualize perceptions that do not correspond to a single form of action but deploy many meanings that allow us to think of cultural heritage as a public good whose sustainability is not equally valued by the community.

This article deals with processes of accumulation of advantages and disadvantages in trajectories of social mobility from the working class, taking into account gender. In order to investigate how working-class trajectories in Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area are shaped by gender in terms of accumulation of (dis) advantages, we made biographical interviews to individuals with different social backgrounds within the working class. Families with more stable situations were able to transmit better conditions for spirals of accumulation of advantages to take place. Among them, some men were able to take full advantage of them, while in women the obstacles to taking advantage were more recurrent.

This article searches about those places that have been perpetuated, not by an official recognition, but under the popular memory and however they actually conserve a high symbolic value for a determined part of the community. Such is the case of the Ciudad Deportiva de Boca settled in the south coast of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the 60 of the XX century, it wasnot only a place for popular recreation and social affairs but also a project and a plural dream around one of the most important football club of this country. From that dreamed Ciudad Deportiva, nowadays only remains ruins and a private project of real state development. The changes in this place along the time show the constant and unavoidable relation between the urban spaces and the political processes.

This article aspires to be a contribution to an anthropological approach on housing and habitat, understanding both notions as complex socio-cultural phenomena. In this sense, our aim is to reflect —from an ethnographic point of view— on the processes whereby living spaces are appropriated, as well as to reflect on certain features that neighbors’ sociability adopts in a social-interest housing complex built as a large urban unit in the South-East area of Buenos Aires, specifically in the barrio of Villa Soldati. The increasing migration of Peruvian citizens to Buenos Aires is a recent phenomenon, and the intensification of the development of organizations and their public presence are correlated with the participation in festivities, civic organizations and the like. This article is a preliminary report on research that focuses on Peruvian dance groups in Buenos Aires and that proposes to describe some of the ways that Peruvian folkdances are transmitted. Important advances have been made in the social sciences with respect to our understanding of cultural variation in forms of childrearing and education. However, common sense and certain academic discourses are persistently reductionist in taking only some aspects of childhood into consideration. In this article I analyze the processes and relations that surround activities related to childcare and education in contexts of marked social inequality. The analysis is based on ethnographic fieldwork in popular neighbourhoods of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. This article recovers the experience of people with HIV residing in the Metropolitan Area of the Buenos Aires Province, around «treatment as prevention» the central core of the HIV-Aids contemporary government policies. It’s an ethnographic investigation with fieldwork (24 months of 2-3 weekly visits lasting 8-12 hours each) developes between 2016 and 2018. Our empirical corpus consists of 13 in-depth interviews and extensive records of everyday interaction observations. We analyze the ways in which the virus´' undetectability and untransmittability engage into everyday life with HIV. Rice and bean production are the 2 most important activities in economic activity. We have 7,500 arable hectares that are planted with rice in the “big season” that occurs between October and March of each year. In the "small campaign" 4,500 ha are planted. of Canarian beans (FC) and 3,000 ha. of other bread products take away. The production of these 7,500 ha reaches 90,000 tons of paddy rice.
