This research shows a solution to address the issue of labor informality in Santiago de Surco, Peru. The problem of informality affects over 80% of the economically active population in Santiago de Surco and thereby limits their access to social services, healthcare, and financial resources. Using a series of sprints and interviews, the researchers collected both qualitative and quantitative data, which shows that informal workers often lack knowledge about how to transition to formal employment. Many of these workers prefer to access information anonymously, such as through digital platforms or anonymous meetings. Through their research, the team identified TikTok advertisements as the most effective medium for reaching informal workers in Surco. The Social Security Institute in Mexico has recorded over 400,000 workplace accidents over the past decade. As a result, it has become necessary to design a preventive safety and health program in the laboratories of the Technological University of the Mixteca. This article presents a methodological proposal to address this necessity. Divided into six stages, it shows the following results: 40% suffered a superficial first-degree burn, 60% have hit or crushed their fingers and hands, 30% experienced eye injuries from particles causing irritation and inflammation, 70% have suffered from back and foot pain, 60% have had allergies, 50% have treated minor cuts, and 20% have developed occupational diseases. The study concludes that with technological advances in the workplace, smart equipment capable of eliminating risk should soon replace conventional personal protective equipment (PPE).

This study focuses on five parishes in the Zaruma canton, with the aim of determining the main strengths or weaknesses that promote or hinder tourism in the sector. The analysis is based on the guidelines of the Methodological Guide for the ranking of attractions and generation of tourist spaces in Ecuador. The first stage was used with its two initial phases, and to facilitate the analysis of the criteria, a weighted percentage was applied to the evaluation criteria, in order to make statistical graphs of the attractions, which allowed us to identify that the tourism potential lies in the cultural-heritage tourism modality and that its complementary attractions, despite having many weaknesses, can be developed with proper management.
