The Brexit referendum is a good example of the particular vulnerability of the European project when fighting disinformation. Therefore, EU institutions have developed a series of initiatives throughout 2018 to define a European strategy to counter disinformation that emphasizes the responsibility of social networks in reporting false content. In addition, given the weakness of the European public sphere, the European institutions support the creation of European networks of fact checkers. The post-truth presents us with the banalization of the events or objective facts, in favor of positions and particular interests appealing to the emotions and indignation of the people where the truth and the lie coexist accepting both equally. In this perspective, the truth turns out to be an interpretation of reality or an alternative reality among others, which is conducive to manipulate people or social groups according to particular interests far from reality and the truth of events.

This paper parts of the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic motivated the virtualization of education. On the face of it, an interest arose to know how this modality advanced in Latin American region. The objective of this article is to explore the references about the virtualization in educational institution and the analysis of them. It was used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method and a technique of selected content. The results were that the virtualization of education is a progressive trend. Educational management in this modality requires new competencies in educational community. Also, there is evidence of adaptation to digital media at an acceptable level in some educational institutions. Therefore, a potential in virtual education was identified to drive the democratization of education due to its reach through mobile devices.

A partir de la pandemia del Covid-19, la proliferación de noticias falsas ha sido un problema recurrente. En este contexto, el fact checking o periodismo de verificación de datos surge como la alternativa idónea para dar frente a esta problemática. En Perú, son pocos los medios especializados en esta vertiente periodística, siendo la red Ama Llulla una de las propuestas más recientes. El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal describir la metodología de verificación de datos y la organización interna de Ama Llulla y cómo se articulan los mensajes a través de su cuenta de Instagram. Para ello, se optó por una metodología mixta conformada por entrevistas semi estructuradas a los periodistas e integrantes de la red, y el análisis de contenido con enfoque cuantitativo para el estudio de las publicaciones de su cuenta de Instagram.

The alternative indictment is regulated in the current Peruvian Criminal Procedural Code of 2004 as part of the discretionary and inherent powers of the Government Attorney General’s Office as the operator of the criminal action and head of the investigation. Its use has increased in complex and hypercomplex criminal proceedings, in which the representative of the Government Attorney General’s Office applies more than one charge for the fact being prosecuted, creating issues in its use and application, both for the Government Attorney General’s Office and for the defense. In this sense, this research will analyze and delve into the nature and purposes of alternative indictment, the infringement or not of the rights of the defendant when using this option, its use in personal preliminary injunctions, among other aspects.

In situ-produced 10Be is one of the most commonly used TCN in quantitative geomorphology due to the fact that its production rate is relatively well constrained in the ubiquitous quartz mineral whose integrity minimizes the possibility of contamination by meteoric 10Be. Easily decontaminated from meteoric 10Be, it is in addition reliably measured using the Accelerator Mass Spectrometry technique for which its detection limit is lower than 104 at.g-1. Interrelationships between two species are a basic theme in Population Dynamics, particularly the interaction between predators and their prey. This importance is due to the fact that it allows a deeper understanding of the behavior of complex food webs. In this paper we extend the analysis of a modified Leslie-Gower predator-prey model by assuming that the functional response is sigmoid or Holling type III and the predator have an alternative food. We show that the system representing the model has up to three positive equilibrium points; we establish conditions to determine the nature of each equilibrium point. In addition, we show the existence of different types of bifurcations, including those of Hopf and the homoclinic. The analytical results are discussed from an ecological perspective.
