This article aspires to be a contribution to an anthropological approach on housing and habitat, understanding both notions as complex socio-cultural phenomena. In this sense, our aim is to reflect —from an ethnographic point of view— on the processes whereby living spaces are appropriated, as well as to reflect on certain features that neighbors’ sociability adopts in a social-interest housing complex built as a large urban unit in the South-East area of Buenos Aires, specifically in the barrio of Villa Soldati. The investigation concerns landscape fragmentation district of Las Lomas in Piura, affected by the existence of an open dump. The study focuses on the possible restoration of the landscape during the decommissioning process. To which we studied the native plant species of dry forest piurano selecting the most resistant and helpful in the recovery process, the same that were placed scenically on the final cover. This process called phytoremediation help the roots of trees and shrubs stabilize the closed area, degrade and absorb waste leachate. Proper placement and subsequent vegetation growth recover the landscape will help the return of displaced wildlife and allow this process to accelerate regenerator for the welfare of the surrounding population.

This paper describes the influence of process variables to produce orange vinegar. Orange juice was fermented with Saccharomyces cerevisiae until reach 14% v/v. The biooxidation was carried out with Acetobacter sp., in submerge culture using a laboratory scale fermentor. In order to avoid the inhibitory effect of ethanol on acetic acid bacteria, the orange wine was diluted to 6% v/v with a mineral solution. It was performed a factorial design 2k to study the influence of variables. It was studied air flow rate/agitation at levels of 0.3-0.6 vvm and 200-400 rpm and the effect of air flow rate/temperature at 0.4-0.6 vvm and 25-30°C, respectively. Los residuos líquidos producidos en un centro de beneficio o matadero son efluentes que contienen sangre, rumen, pelos, grasas, proteínas. La generación de vertidos de aguas residuales tiene una carga orgánica, DBO y de nutrientes media-alta (sangre) con un contenido importante de sólidos en suspensión (rumen), grasas y aceites, así como vertidos líquidos de la operación de escaldado y lavado de carcazas, limpieza de equipos e instalaciones. En el campo del tratamiento de aguas residuales de mataderos, la flotación por aire disuelto (DAF) se usa, entre otros, para la separación de grasas, aceites, y sangre coloidal, en los cuales el DAF ha demostrado ser el sistema de separación de fases más eficiente. The meat processing industry is believed to produce highly polluted wastewater. Analysis of such wastewater indicated that the waste was highly contaminated with organic compounds as indicated by DQO (mg/L), DBO (mg/L ), and TSS (mg/L ). Moreover, oil and grease concentrations reached mg/L treatment of raw wastewater using Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) was studied. Efficiency of the DAF for the removal of DBO, DQO, and oil and grease was 80%, 75% y 95 % .The overall efficiency of the treatment units provided good quality effluent.

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar una máquina de extracción de humos para mejorar la calidad del aire durante un proceso de soldadura. El sistema propuesto tiene una capacidad de 3 HP y un caudal operativo de 0,63 m³/s. La hipótesis plantea que dicho diseño contribuirá significativamente a reducir la contaminación ambiental en la zona de trabajo y en el entorno general.
