In this article it's saying that treatment of youth violence in our context is, generally, of diagnosis kind, except some applications in minor scale. But now we have a behavioural technology developed for this in other countries, with exitous proofs adapted and maked to our reality. The functional analysis implicated in this technology is embracing they antecedent, present and consequent dimensions of aggressive episode, for identification of risk factors and postulating the corrective actions. I suggest that behavioural programs are systematic interventions and they have solid empirical dales. They are powerful alternatives for integrating commentary strategies in conjunction with experts.

The purpose of the research was to verify the efficacy of a cognitive behavioral treatment program with a gender perspective in male batterers in the relationship. The sample of 48 men who were reported for violence against their intimate partner, and also were forced to undergo psychological treatment by court order. Most of them were adults, without a history of serious psychopathology, employed, with a history of violence in their family of origin no alcohol consumption problems, half of them with only primary and secondary education. Assessed before and after treatment with the Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS-2), the Inventory of Distorted Thoughts towards Women and Violence (IPMV) and the Attribution of Responsibility and Minimization Scale (IRM). The data were analyzed with the t-test for related samples, and the effect size measurements were reported using the Delta coefficient of Gla...

The design and implementation called "A program of social interaction games to stimulate the control of first-grade students’ aggressive behaviors of Sagrado Divino Maestro School, in Las Brisas, 2013" was made in response to the problems found in this school, which shows a low level of control of aggressive behaviors in order to contribute to revert this situation in favor of children. For this purpose, we worked with a population of 175 children, of which 37 formed the experimental group and 37, the control group. The stimulus was implemented to the experimental group on March 5th, 2013. The program of Social Interaction Games consisted in the implementation of 15 learning sessions concerning to the development of games to enable social skills, stillness collective games, movement collective games, assertiveness and confidence games. After having implemented the stimulus, it was evid...

This research seeks to analyze the variables involved in prosocial behavior and his ability to act as a protective factor against gambling addiction. This study is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational. The sample was made up of 258 adults residing in the province of Valencia (59.5% women) with a mean age of 20.95 years (SD = 2.19). Questionnaires were applied to measure the variables involved (Brief Resilient Coping Scale, cuestionario de apoyo social, Escala de Prosocialidad y South Oaks Gambling Screen) and a structural equation model was performed. The results showed good fit indices (X2 (41) = 59.31, p = .06; CFI = .97; GFI = .96; RMSEA = .04) and indicated that social support and resilience were not related, being both predictors of prosocial behaviors. Furthermore, prosocial behaviors were predictors of gambling addiction. This research presents an explanato...

Background: Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are a public health problem and the programs to reduce their transmission are mostly addressed from the risk approach and not from a comprehensive intervention. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of a biographical-professional intervention program with cognitive behavioral techniques to reduce sexual risk behaviors in men who have sex with men (MSM). Method: A two-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used in the research. The first group consisted of MSM with an STD, nine of whom were in the experimental group and eight in the control group, whereas the second group consisted of MSM with no STD distributed into two groups of 11 men each. The participants answered the questions of an ad hoc scale, whose validity and reliability were previously evaluated. Results: Differences between the experimental and control groups’ pr...

Climacteric women present a series of inconveniences due to hormonal disorders, that, associated with demographic characteristics, impacts on lifestyles and socio-cultural aspects, inducing these climacteric women to receive hormone therapy among other gynecological indications. In order to solve this problem we have done a prospective quasi-experimental and transversal investigation, in order to know the effect of the psychoprophylactic program for the menopause, on sexual behavior, and knowledge on preventive health. We have selected 42 users of the Health Center of Jacobo Dixon Hunter, from 38 to 55 years, which were distributed in two groups: an experimental group (EG) and a control group (CG), to whom we have applied a pre-test at the start in both groups. The EG Group was given six educational theoretical and practical classes, after which a post test was applied to both EG and CG ...

Abstract This article describes the results of the implementation of a pedagogy program that is based on tenderness, which was applied in two groups of children of the initial level in order to discover the positive impact on the reduction of aggressive manifestations that children presented. Therefore, the objective focused on determining the impact of the pedagogy program based on tenderness to counteract aggressive behaviors in boys and girls from IEI N ° 313 Héctor Aurich from the district of Ferreñafe and IEI San Gabriel N ° 051 from the district of Pomalca. According to the research methodology, it was an application with a quasi-experimental design, where a pre and post test was used as information collection tools in the study sample, evaluating the dependent variable of aggressiveness. However, the entire population was taken as a sample because it was small and had access t...

The Achenbach Inventory of Behavioral Problems (test/retest reliability = 92) was administered to 908 adolescents in Lima, aged from 11 to 18 years, 621 coming from the control group (normal) and 287 from the experimental group (clinical group with divorced parents). Results showed that the experimental group exhibited significantly higher scores (T ? 70) than the control group (T < 60), the former reaching pathology level indicators. Moreover, a non-significant tendency to obtain higher T scores is more observed in females than in males. From the study results we can state that the Achenbach Inventory is a valid instrument for a screening process of children exhibiting behavioral problems that require psychological or psychiactric intervention in Peru.

In recent years, the problems of social inequality and urban disorder have intensified due to the sectorization of the city after a process of unequal urban modernization, making people feel differences in spaces of social integration, urban facilities and habitability, which evokes a main consequence of urban deficit that places people in a situation of precariousness in multiple dimensions in living conditions and citizen insecurity, which leads to delimiting urban areas, encouraging the development of intervention programs of a socio-urban nature. The research is framed in SDG-11.3 with a critical analysis of Compact Systems Thinking and Dialogue-Debate with multidisciplinary specialists. It constitutes a basic substantive research, with a mixed approach, at a descriptive-explanatory level; Non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample was 322 units, using observation sheets, qu...

This study sought to determine the relationships between Future Time Perspective, Self-Care Behaviors, and Mental Health, and to compare the results based on the adolescents' sex. A total of 181 adolescents participated and answered three questionnaires measuring each of the variables involved. The results of the structural model suggest that Future Time Perspective influences self-care behaviors, which impact mental health. Significant correlations were found between Future Time Perspective and self-care behaviors (r = 0.47, p < 0.001) and mental health problems (r = -.20, p < 0.001), as well as differences based on the adolescents' sex in self-care behaviors (t = 2.09, p < 0.05). The findings of this study contribute to the literature on mental health in adolescents with theoretical and practical implications, establishing an empirical model that links future time perspective ...

The existence of several causes of antisocial behavior during adolescence seems to respond, not only to the combination of many risk factors within different levels of human development, but also to cultural and historical processes affecting, in many ways, several generations since their early childhood. This paper revises the main explicative theories about antisocial behavior during adolescence and highlights the theory of the Neuropsychological Taxonomy of the Antisocial Behavior proposed by Terrie E. Moffitt (1993, 1994, 1996, 2003). Moreover, some studies are mentioned due to the fact that they confirm the cross-cultural validity of Moffitt’s theorical model and its  contributions to the design of prevention programs against delinquency for youngsters and adolescents in our context.

Exploring disruptive behaviors in adolescents in basic education and their implications on their development is necessary to have updated information and support coherent measures. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate the scientific literature on antisocial behaviors and physical aggression in adolescents enrolled in the Scopus database between 2010 and 2024. Scoping review was used as a method for bibliometric or retrospective studies, the terms used were: disruptive behavior, antisocial behaviour, deviant behavior, physical aggression, aggression, corporal aggression, adolescent together with Bolean operators AND, OR. The results of the study included 989 manuscripts, of which 81.2% were original empirical articles. The United States is the main country with the highest scientific production (41.7%) and the one with the greatest collaboration with European countries (...

A model of family influences on the development of antisocial behavior and scholar problems in adolescents is presented. Two-hundred four students of junior and high school were assessed. Data were analyzed through a structural equation model. Results showed that child abuse, a no cooperative family and mothers' alcohol consumption had a direct effect on antisocial behavior, which in turn promoted delinquen behavior and negatively affected school grades of students. Delinquency and mothers' alcohol consumption had an influence on students' school problems, which could be partially overturned by their social abilities. Results suggest the necessity of counselling for families in arder to prevent school problems and bad grades in adolescents.

Behavior-based safety programs are applied with the aim of reinforcing the level of safety at work, but if it is done by complying with a number of observations of safe behavior established in the goal of the month in the workplace, it generates in workers who only comply with safety while being observed or that observers report behaviors that they did not really see; consequently, accidents with workers continue and even worse with fatal cases, observers stop believing in the safety program they are using and management comes to believe that with a greater number of observations it is possible to correct unsafe behaviors; therefore, the results of the program are not achieved over time. This is a consequence of not having understood the principles of behavior-based security theory since the beginning of its implementation. In the present investigation, the behavior-based security theory...
