In this work, we study the crystallization and surface morphology of Cu thin films (exposed to environment) growth on SiO2/Si subsstrates. The samples thermally treated using a tubular furnace bet ween temperature range 250-1000ºC during an elapsed time of 3 hours, after was cooling to a rate of 1.4ºC/min. The crystalization process was measured by X-ray difraction (XRD), meanwhile the surface morphology was observed with scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results was analyzed and permit us to know the temperature dependecy of the dynamics of surface atoms on the Cu/SiO2 system, are the range between 400-500ºC. During the annealing an oxidation process on sample surfaces occur and the presence of Cu silicides are detected.

The argument that evolution contradicts the second law of thermodynamics arises from a misinterpretation of this law, which does not preclude local increases in order in open systems such as the Earth or living organisms. The second law states that total entropy in an isolated system tends to increase, but it does not exclude the possibility that complexity may increase locally provided it is compensated by a larger increase in entropy in the environment. Evolution and abiogenesis operate within the limits of physical laws. Energy from the Sun drives self-organizing processes, allowing living systems to reduce their internal entropy while increasing the total entropy of the universe. Furthermore, concepts such as Gibbs free energy and dissipative structures explain how biological and chemical processes can generate order without violating thermodynamics. Recent studies connect natural se...

This thesis will be oriented in the study of open quantum systems. The transition of processes that go between the Markovian and non-Markovian regime will be studied. The diagnose of non-Markovianity will be made in terms of the variation of the coherence of the state. Accordingly, an optical setup will be implemented that allows us to manipulate certain degrees of freedom, like the polarization and the optical path. Theoretically, we have found that the coherence of the system is transferred to the environment and it decreases as we move a parameter that we will take as time. This situation has been confirmed in the experiment. Then, due to the second part of the setup, which produces a non-Markovian evolution by also changing one of its parameters, we have accomplished the goal of returning the information back into the system and to measure the non-Markovianity of the process.

For decades, synthetic chemists have sought to make industrial-scale catalysts as efficient and exceptionally selective as enzymes are in biological systems but, unfortunately, this task has proven evasive. Efforts then focused on making enzymes useful for the industry, and protein engineering had the task of adapting natural enzymes to work in conditions of industrial-scale processes. The approach called directed evolution is one of the models used to carry this out. Inspired by the natural evolution of species, this model proposes to evolve enzymes in an accelerated way, within the laboratory, in such a way that the manipulated enzyme exhibits the properties desired for its industrial application. Directed evolution is responsible, for example, for the industrial-scale production of enzymes included in household detergents and of the enzymes used by the pharmaceutical industry for the ...

Objective: Determine the impact of the global economy crisis in 2008 on the evolution and process of the economy in Peru during the period 2008-2014. Method: Non-experimental, transversal and retrospective research; the scope is descriptive, correlate, explanatory; quantitative approach, based on measurement, numerical assessment and statistical analysis. Results: It is ruled out that the relationship between GDP growth for the period 2008-2014 and the crisis investigated is null, and according to the results of ARIMA model is found conviction and evidence of a negative relationship between this period and the economy of Peru. Likewise, it is important to underline that in the absence of individual significance, the correspondence has not necessarily been close or direct, but was belatedly shown in the Peruvian economy. Conclusions: Economic events caused a macroeconomic scale impact the...

This article reviews the evolution of the surgical treatment of breast cancer, from radical mastectomy to extremeoncoplastic surgery. Through this progression, radical axillary dissection has also been substantially transformed. Therefore,we present the de-escalation process of axillary dissection, highlighting sentinel lymph node biopsy as the most widely accepted standard of care in cases with clinically negative nodes and negative sentinel nodes. This is because it has demonstrated comparable outcomes in terms of disease-free survival, overall survival, and low local recurrence rates when comparing axillary dissection with sentinel lymph node biopsy alone in randomized patient groups. Additionally, recent studies show that axillary dissection after neoadjuvant therapy and radiotherapy may be omitted in specific cases of patients with clinically positive nodes or positive sentinel node...

Introduction: Peritonitis is an inflammatory process of multiple etiologies that can compromise the patient's life, so it is necessary to understand the risk factors that are associated with poor clinical evolution. Objectives: To determine the factors associated with poor clinical evolution in adult patients hospitalized for peritonitis in the Emergency Hospital "José Casimiro Ulloa, 2012 - 2016". Methods: Analytical, retrospective study, of type cases and controls. The universe population of the cases will be conformed by all the patients with bad evolution (patients with a hospital stay greater than 9 days). The universe population for the control group consisted of patients with peritonitis with favorable evolution (patients with a hospital stay of less than 9 days) hospitalized for peritonitis. The descriptive and analytical analysis was done with chi square and logistic regression...

Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. A documentary investigation and a case study based on the participatory-action-research that is the basis of a theoretical prot-model ofintervention of reliable PR in social innovation processes. INTRODUCTION: The practice of care has existed since time began. Its origin is related to the necessity of survival in which was developed life of the first humans, also it’s related to maternal interventions that assured the life and specie continuity. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Through the technique of bibliographical review, it was made an exhaustive analysis of the selected sample that involves, as whole, the historical evolution of people, families, communities (including its groups) health care. DEVELOPMENT: According to Francoise Colliere, french theorist, take care means “to move human abilities of the human being in sickness or health state, considering its customs, to accomplish the growth and development from birth until death. It also demands the caregiver to develop many abilities of perception, comprehension, just like ingenuity, inventiveness and creativity.” According t...

The paper analyzes the formation of commercial contracts in the U.S. legal system, with a focus on the problem of risk. The author examines how contract theory has developed in the United States, from a rigid and formalistic view to a more flexible approach, embodied in the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). It also discusses concepts such as “consideration” and its importance in validating a contract, as well as the exceptions to the general rule, such as “promissory estoppel”, which allows the fulfillment of promises without direct economic benefit. It also addresses the evolution of contracts in situations of risk, highlighting how the UCC allocates the risk of destruction of goods and the annulment of contracts for mutual mistake or frustration of purpose. All this, citing diverse case law referred to the implications of the commercial contract. Finally, he briefly explains the d...
