The new Public Procurement Law introduces the Dispute Boards as a new settlement ofdisputes and contestations during the contractual execution of the work phase. The present article works, in the first place, the framework of public procurement and the controversies that are originated in the matter. Then, it will expose the development of the Dispute Boards in other countried and their characteristics. Finally, it concludes identifying the type of Dispute Boards that is being adopted in Peruvian law, showing his vantages and disadvantages.

A new procedure has been used to separate and quantify the free radical-scavenging activity of individual compounds 18 samples of Thymus vulgaris and 12 samples of Rosmarinus officinalis (both used as natural food preservatives), based on the combination of HPTLC (High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography) and postchromatographic DPPH● radical derivatization. The compounds thymol and rosmarinic acid in T. vulgaris and R. officinalis, respectively, were identified by comparisons of their Rf values and UV spectra to standards analyzed under identical analytical conditions, while the quantitative data were calculated from their calibration curves. We found that not only that the biomass yield but also the metabolite content in herbs, depend on the ecotype (genetics) and on the agro ecological conditions. The EduBPMN method contains a set of transformation rules that allow the generation of Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) from a BPMN model complemented by the UML class diagram. The article proposes new rules for the EduBPMN method based on BPMN primitives and operations of the UML classes. These rules can generate design alternatives for GUIs, each of which has been proposed to be represented by a stereotype. As a result of this work, four new rules and eight new stereotypes have been proposed to extend the EduBPMN method. For a better understanding of the contribution, it has been applied to an illustrative example of a project.

The objective of this work is to develop a method of Systems Identification applied to the gas mixer in the neonatal incubator BAN, with the aim of finding a mathematical model that describes its dynamics to implement later a controller. The method considered the conduct of an identification nonparametric which was to excite the entrance to the mixer with signals generated by a computer to determine basic information but valuable. Then, the parametric identification was made consisting of excite the entrance to the mixer with a pseudo-random binary signal to obtain the data matrix with which the coefficients were obtained model ARX. The validation and cross correlation conducted showed the effectiveness of the method. The performance of discrete element method (DEM) simulations is highly dependent on the requirements of the associated algorithms in terms of computer memory usage and CPU time. In particular, computer CPU time heavily depends on the identification of neighbor particles and the computation of particle-particle interactions.
