This article presents a theoretical equation set based on the information interactions that result in experiential learning. We attempt to link our equation set to the Uppsala Internationalization Process model in order to quantify information overload and operationalize the Uppsala model under longitudinal time series settings. The internationalization process has generated an increase in the diversity and overall quantity of information, resulting in an increase of the variation and amount of information that a firm needs to process. This challenges a firm's capacity to simultaneously expand and learn. Market knowledge is acquired essentially through current business activities, all of which proceed from a firm's market experience to generate experiential knowledge. Market experience is situation-specific and therefore difficult to generalize. Nonetheless, firms tend to use general -fa...

Conflicts between stakeholders during decision making in construction projects occur on a daily basis, as they often have an inadequate communications management, causing delays and cost overruns in the project. For this reason, alternative solutions were sought to reduce the percentage of delays due to decision-making conflicts. The proposal of this research focuses on the implementation of a collaborative software model in public works in its execution stage, this software allows the members of a work team, a fluid communication, as well as the instantaneous sharing of information. The software was implemented in a Peruvian company of small and medium contracting capacity, the process of elaboration of valorization was analyzed before the implementation of the software, that is to say, the elaboration in a traditional way, where it was obtained that the main events that generated delay...

Currently, many industrial companies generate many losses in their after sales this is generated to an error in the control of inventories and in turn in a mishandling of their assets through their processes, therefore the present research proposes a management model of processes and control of inventories in order to reduce customer losses due to the large number of existing complaints and thus increase sales. Therefore, the process management model, which will contribute to the standardization, optimization and control of its critical processes, and for which indicators, procedures and policies will be proposed for each stage of the process in order to measure its efficiency and effectiveness for correct decision making. With respect to the control of inventories, it is proposed to make a segmentation of the products, which allows the identification of the most important products for t...

This scientific article aims to demonstrate the usefulness of the application of a novel inventory management model based on 3 tools: A control system for incoming and outgoing goods, a process monitoring system managed through a KANBAN canvas and a continuous improvement system based on a PHVA cycle to improve the logistics management of an SME in the retail sector. especially in the control of inventory accuracy and availability indicators. It was based on an initial diagnosis of the processes of the logistics area of the company under study, then appropriate inventory management policies were implemented, and the processes were re-engineered. The next step was to design a Dashboard to control the inflows and outflows of goods, which takes the information from the company's ERP and allows it to anticipate omissions in the processes. Finally, staff were trained and a process monitoring ...

This paper presents a methodology for designing a strategy proportional integral controller (PI) given that the policy will be implemented in an industrial process controller. The design considers the modeling of the plant through analog techniques of system identifi cation. It is used in controller design algorithm discrete digital PI controller that is running the process controller used. Considered for the design specifi cations of closed loop time response primarily to obtain a settling time line that you can be met without exceeding the range of the control signal that can deliver the process controller used. Implement the control system to verify the behavior of the closed loop system in relation to the specifi ed control objective.

Many different information technology frame-works have been proposed to assist organi-zations implementing information technol-ogy. However, these frameworks are complex, difficult to implement, and overlap with one another making their simultaneous implementation even more difficult to ac-complish by organizations. This study proposes to develop an overlap-less maturity model that helps organizations deal with the aforementioned problems. The model was applied and evaluated by experts at five organizations. This approach was recognized as useful, complete, and helpful in a multi-framework implementation by prob-lem management (PM) experts. This research provides contributions for academics since it distinguishes itself from the existing studies in the body of knowledge and is a baseline for further investigation.

Reverse logistic is a recently concept that has been taking more importance, force and interest by enterprises, governments and civil society, because currently we are living a peach of environment conservation and reducing of global warming. In the production phase, this concept is linked with mistakes and leftovers made in the fabrication process whose materials are possible of reuse. Thus, the application of reverse logistic is made by medium and large production enterprises, focused in manufacture, that are looking for reduce of costs and give a responsibility environmental image. In addition, enterprises need automated tools for taking good decisions when appear a mistake in the process production, which is the objective of this research. Finally, this system improves the results in the time, when it adds more data.

Those in charge of directing small and micro companies many see the application of improvement tools as something unnecessary; since, they think that they are complicated development methods that will represent unnecessary expense of time and money, and therefore they prefer to remain in the same situation and do not take advantage of the possibility of improving and growing as an organization. In the development of this research, the influence of the application of the Six Sigma methodology is studied and approached in a practical way; tool that allows to measure the performance of a process for the identification of defects and determine the ideal improvements to apply, in a MYPE. Different articles were analyzed, where the Six Sigma model had been applied; which presented improvements for the organizations to which they were directed. In addition, the Six Sigma methodology was impleme...

Research on implementing work standardization in an SME company in the veterinary sector is very scarce. This scientific article aims to increase productivity without neglecting the grooming service's quality and applying different engineering solutions to improve resource management. The results obtained can be of great value to similar industries, especially those that want to improve the performance of their operations, avoid waste, and improve their productivity. In companies such as a veterinary clinic, it is common to find that those in charge of the bathroom area do not perform an outstanding performance in their work, considering this task as not very important or definitive for the company, causing unnecessary delays, slow work speed, and unmotivated staff. We seek through this article to demonstrate that, through standardization of processes and areas within a company, the impe...

The phrase ‘divide and rule’ and which proposes a strategy of dividing a centralized power structure into smaller power groups. Based on this principle, this study proposes that in the project management for the development of a web application, where the application’s implementation can be divided in processes with their own tools, resources and life cycle. Both O’Reilly (2007) and Ginige (1998) mention that the technologies to be used in the front-end of a web application are different from those of the back-end, making it possible to decouple the implementation into its own components from the side of the customer or web browser and from the applications servers, databases and static files.
