This scientific article aims to demonstrate the usefulness of the application of a novel inventory management model based on 3 tools: A control system for incoming and outgoing goods, a process monitoring system managed through a KANBAN canvas and a continuous improvement system based on a PHVA cycle to improve the logistics management of an SME in the retail sector. especially in the control of inventory accuracy and availability indicators. It was based on an initial diagnosis of the processes of the logistics area of the company under study, then appropriate inventory management policies were implemented, and the processes were re-engineered.
