Electrodes for Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSCs) were made using ZnO nanoparticles deposited over conductive substrates of SnO2:F (FTO). ZnO nanoparticles were obtained by the wet ball milling technique. Then these particles were used to make a viscous paste which was deposited over the substrate by the dr. lade method. After sintering, the electrodes were sensitized with organic and metalorganic dyes like D35 and N719 respectively during 14 hours. Liquid electrolytes with redox mediators like iodide/ triiodide redox cuple and cobalt complexes were used. Also platinum and polymer (PEDOT) covers were used like counterelectrodes. Sealed cells reported efficiencies values as high as 1.6% and values for incident photo conversion efficiency (IPCE) close to 60% at 500nm.

Avocado crop (Persea americana Mill.) is of great commercial importance due to its high profitability. However, it is being affected by various diseases and pests that affect yield and reduce fruit quality. The aim of this research was to develop methodologies for the evaluation of avocado plantations using different non-destructive technologies for rapid phenotyping and early detection of the incidence of diseases or damage due to stress in the stem. A plot of 0.7 ha. was evaluated, with a total of 44 individuals using Field-Map technology (dasometric and morphological characterization), RGB-multispectral images from Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) (rapid phenotyping), while 15 individuals were evaluated using tomography (assessment of the internal state of the stem). The results with tomography indicated that there is a tree with wood rot of 14% with a lower acoustic speed with...

We report the results of the application of the Model-based Predictive Control (MPC) algorithm for a 3×3 MIMO balls mill grinding system by using computational simulation and Monte Carlo data generation. For this purpose, the system has been identified through a reduced scheme of Volterra formalism by which the proposed methodology has required to employ up to 20 parameters. Subsequently, the model enters in a framework of MPC which targets to control the particle size, one of the most important output variables in this study. According to the simulation results the system identification error is of order of 3%, whereas the MPC scheme applied to control a desired set-point namely 75 %-200mesh is accompanied by a deviation of ±5%. Since the balls mill grinding circuit is a nonlinear system, it is expected that the system might collapse as consequence of the accumulated circulant load. T...

Low yields of cherimoya (Annona cherimola Mill.) are mainly attributed to poor natural pollination of its flowers, so manual pollination is the most important alternative. The present research aimed to determine the effectiveness of manual pollination in increasing fruit set, weight, and symmetry of the cherimoya Cumbe ecotype, pollinating four times between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. of the two days of its flower opening cycle and using the paint brush and insufflator methods, under conditions of the Huaura Valley, Peru. The highest fruit set (71.9 % - 85.0 %) was achieved with all pollinations on day 1 and those carried out until 10:00 a.m. on day 2; and the lowest (31.3 % - 40.2 %) occurred with pollinations on day 2 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Fruit set was zero in the control with natural pollination and when pollinated on day 2 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. No differences were found in...

This study was conducted to determine the effect of phosphorus solubilizing native bacteria on Zea mays L. “maize”, Lycopersicon esculentum Mill. “tomato” and Phaseolus lunatus L. “lima bean” at the lowest part of the valley Chancay, Mochumi, Lambayeque, as an alternative to the problem of limited phosphorus availability. Bacteria were isolated on SRSM (CaHPO4.2H2O = 5.6 gL-1) agar and they were recognized by a translucent halo. The in vitro solubilization efficiency was determined in batch tank bioreactors with an air flow of 0,8 vvm , 1% of inoculum (108 cell mL -1), at 28 ° C for 5 days. 323 isolations were obtained and their halos diameters ranged from 1 to 11 mm, 79.26% of the isolation kept their solubilization capacity, identifying Enterobacter, Bacillus, Erwinia, Micrococcus, Paenibacillus, Serratia, Pseudomonas, Xanthomonas, Burkholderia, Acinetobacter and Azotobact...

The present investigation entitled "Effect of four doses of tetrahormona crop production in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill) variety Ria Grande in the District of Lamas" aimed to assess and analyze the effect of four doses of tetrahormona (Biogyz) in the production of the tomato crop and perform economic analysis. Statistical design of randomized complete block (RCBD) was used, using five treatments and three replications. The results were: The T4 (0,6 l.ha-1 ) and T3 (0,5 l.ha-1 ) treatments were statistically equal and averaging Kg.ha 231,646.35 210,636.73 Kg.ha-1 reached the highest average yield per hectare, statistically outperforming all other treatments. The T4 (0,6 Lha-1 ) and T3 (0,5 l.ha-1 ) statistically equal and averaging 32,5 and 31, 1 fruit per plant reached statistically higher mean overcoming the other treatments. The T4 (0,6 l.ha-1 ) and T3 (0,5 l.héf1 ) and stati...

The research was developed with the certainty of finding answers in the agronomic characteristics and yield of the tomato to the application of the organic fertilizer "protowallpa", using doses of 10, 20, 30 and 40 t / ha, in a clay loam soil, located in Zungarococha-Loreto. The statistical design was the DBCA, with a duration of 90 days, concluding that, with 40 t / ha of organic fertilizer, the best results were produced in phenology and yield, who presented fruits with an average of 50 g, making a total of 742.75 g / plant and 17,826 Kg / ha, with economic utility of S/.58,253.00.

The experiment "Behavior of agronomic and yielding components under different types of tutors in Lycopersicum esculentum Mill, "tomato" var. " RÍo Grande", Zungarococha-Loreto.2021, was reflected in the Workshop on Teaching and Research of Horticultural Plants (TEIPH), of the Faculty of Agronomy-UNAP, Loreto-Peru region. The type of research was experimental, explanatory, using an independent variable (Types of tutors) and eight dependent variables (plant height, fruit length, fruit diameter, number of fruits/plant, fruit weight, fruit weight/plant and fruit weight/ha. he main objective was to determine the behavior of agronomic and yield components under different types of tutors in Lycopersicum esculentum Mill, "tomato" var. "Rio Grande", Zungarococha-Loreto.2021. The experimental design was that of Completely Random Blocks, with four treatments and four repetitions. Each experimental...
