Currently, many industrial companies generate many losses in their after sales this is generated to an error in the control of inventories and in turn in a mishandling of their assets through their processes, therefore the present research proposes a management model of processes and control of inventories in order to reduce customer losses due to the large number of existing complaints and thus increase sales. Therefore, the process management model, which will contribute to the standardization, optimization and control of its critical processes, and for which indicators, procedures and policies will be proposed for each stage of the process in order to measure its efficiency and effectiveness for correct decision making. With respect to the control of inventories, it is proposed to make a segmentation of the products, which allows the identification of the most important products for t...

Those in charge of directing small and micro companies many see the application of improvement tools as something unnecessary; since, they think that they are complicated development methods that will represent unnecessary expense of time and money, and therefore they prefer to remain in the same situation and do not take advantage of the possibility of improving and growing as an organization. In the development of this research, the influence of the application of the Six Sigma methodology is studied and approached in a practical way; tool that allows to measure the performance of a process for the identification of defects and determine the ideal improvements to apply, in a MYPE. Different articles were analyzed, where the Six Sigma model had been applied; which presented improvements for the organizations to which they were directed. In addition, the Six Sigma methodology was impleme...

Model predictive control (MPC) has been, since its introduction in the late 70’s, a well accepted control technique, especially for industrial processes, which are typically slow and allow for on-line calculation of the control inputs. Its greatest advantage is its ability to consider constraints, on both inputs and states, directly and naturally. More recently, the improvements in processor speed have allowed its use in a wider range of problems, many involving faster dynamics. Nevertheless, implementation of MPC algorithms on embedded systems with resources, size, power consumption and cost constraints remains a challenge. In this thesis, High-Level Synthesis (HLS) is used to implement implicit MPC algo- rithms for linear (LMPC) and nonlinear (NMPC) plant models, considering constraints on both control inputs and states of the system. The algorithms are implemented in the Zynq@ -7000...

This research analyzes the distribution of a poultry plant, with defined processes and established areas. However, it has been proven that the poultry production process can optimize its processes by redistribu ting it, applying the SLP (Systematic Layout Plan- ning) methodology. In addition, the purpose is to take the process to a second level of improvement with process automation. Initially, the plant plans were analyzing in detail, these allowed us to visualize which areas should be improved. Then, the DAP (Process Activity Diagram) was analyzed, where the activities are identified for the plant process. Thereafter, the SLP method is applied, which is essential for the redistribution of the plant. Once a more ef ficient plant has been obtained, productivity is analyzed using a distance and load matrix. Furthermore, the idea of automation in important processes is shown in a cost and ...
