Objective: Determine the impact of the global economy crisis in 2008 on the evolution and process of the economy in Peru during the period 2008-2014. Method: Non-experimental, transversal and retrospective research; the scope is descriptive, correlate, explanatory; quantitative approach, based on measurement, numerical assessment and statistical analysis. Results: It is ruled out that the relationship between GDP growth for the period 2008-2014 and the crisis investigated is null, and according to the results of ARIMA model is found conviction and evidence of a negative relationship between this period and the economy of Peru. Likewise, it is important to underline that in the absence of individual significance, the correspondence has not necessarily been close or direct, but was belatedly shown in the Peruvian economy. Conclusions: Economic events caused a macroeconomic scale impact the...

The inclusion of the category cultural heritage within the conceptual framework of the cultural heritage implies a deep change that could even be considered the arising of a new paradigm, despite of the fact that it follows a tendency previously marked by other inclusions (i.e. cultural landscape and serial heritage). Huge projects such as the Qhapaq Ñan and the Silk Road and others promoted by UNESCO are a demonstration of this statement. They imply a geographic scope and diversity that would even not be in the previous imagination. In this article, we follow the most important steps in this inclusive process which is arising the academic and cultural interest for the last years. There are, nevertheless, some conceptual gaps and vagueness which we analyze in this article. We make evident the necessity to generate an evaluation process of the progress made until now in this issue and to...

In the context of the evolution of regulation as a discipline, its characteristics that distinguish it from administrative law and the state’s police powers are explored. The main theoretical approaches to the regulatory process are addressed, such as public interest, interest groups, and institutional models. These models provide various explanations for the development of regulatory policies, which may vary depending on the context and circumstances.Additionally, in light of contemporary challenges, the responses of regulatory authorities to situations arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization, artificial intelligence (AI), and cryptocurrencies are analyzed. The most effective regulatory models for addressing these challenges are evaluated, highlighting the importance of  flexible and adaptive regulation in response to global risks. Finally, the need for future legal pr...

The text examines the evolution of human nutrition from the emergence of the first hominids to the present day, focusing on how changes in food production have impacted both health and the environment. The objective of the research was to analyze these changes, emphasizing the responsibility of food companies in promoting sustainable and healthy practices. The methodology employed was a literature review, selecting 47 relevant articles published between 2016 and 2024. The findings revealed that although technological advances in food production have improved food security, they have also contributed to the rise in chronic diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes. Notably, the negative impact of consuming ultra-processed foods and refined grains was highlighted, along with the influence of marketing on dietary decisions. The study concluded that it is essential to reassess current pro...

This research details the analysis done to the replenishment process in one of the leading companies of the home centers sector in our country, through which improvements are defined to face the limitations found that show the replacement of goods as an unproductive activity. In this way, it seeks to contribute to better positioning the company against competition in a growing market like the current one. The necessary indicators were obtained to examine the evolution of the process in recent years, allowing demonstrate the hypothesis of correlation between the level of out-of-stock, representing replenishment timely management, and service level, which represents the end customer satisfaction and recognition for the company against the competition. Thus, in proposing a new model for the replenishment process is expected to optimize inventory management, increasing customer satisfaction ...

Located in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, the Doñana salt marshes occupy around half of Doñana National Park and are currently considered among the most important wetlands worldwide due to the importance of their ecosystem. In this research work, using a novel patented procedure, the effects of climate change on the study area between 2009 and 2020 were evaluated. For this reason, DEMs were downloaded from the 30-meter Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM). Furthermore, to check the depth of the flooded area, 792 satellite images (L5 TM, L7 ETM+, and L8 OLI) with a resolution of 30 m were analyzed. The results show how the combined use of geomatic techniques, such as radar, optical, and geographic information system (GIS) data, along with regression models and iterative processes, plays a key role in the prediction and analysis of the flooded area volume in the Doñana salt mars...

This thesis will be oriented in the study of open quantum systems. The transition of processes that go between the Markovian and non-Markovian regime will be studied. The diagnose of non-Markovianity will be made in terms of the variation of the coherence of the state. Accordingly, an optical setup will be implemented that allows us to manipulate certain degrees of freedom, like the polarization and the optical path. Theoretically, we have found that the coherence of the system is transferred to the environment and it decreases as we move a parameter that we will take as time. This situation has been confirmed in the experiment. Then, due to the second part of the setup, which produces a non-Markovian evolution by also changing one of its parameters, we have accomplished the goal of returning the information back into the system and to measure the non-Markovianity of the process.

For decades, synthetic chemists have sought to make industrial-scale catalysts as efficient and exceptionally selective as enzymes are in biological systems but, unfortunately, this task has proven evasive. Efforts then focused on making enzymes useful for the industry, and protein engineering had the task of adapting natural enzymes to work in conditions of industrial-scale processes. The approach called directed evolution is one of the models used to carry this out. Inspired by the natural evolution of species, this model proposes to evolve enzymes in an accelerated way, within the laboratory, in such a way that the manipulated enzyme exhibits the properties desired for its industrial application. Directed evolution is responsible, for example, for the industrial-scale production of enzymes included in household detergents and of the enzymes used by the pharmaceutical industry for the ...
