This research aims to demonstrate through a review of literature the existence of industrial applications for mango seed oil (MSO) since it has comparable and even better physique-chemical properties than other oilseed oils. The revised articles indicate that the MSO is edible, of high quality, rich in unsaponifiable matter, and consisting mainly of stearic and oleic fatty acids. It also reveals the great potential of MSO as cocoa butter substitute, natural antioxidant, cosmetic, antimicrobial compound, and even biofuel. These applications will enable industries to generate more significant economic benefits and will contribute to the care of the environment.

The design of a control system in certain processes in the industry is the main problem for engineers. Since the input and output data of a certain process are obtained, we can know the response of the system, the same that allows us to study a model prototype and using the theory of nonlinear control the limit cycles are predicted, we can propose a function descriptive whose parameters will be necessary to implement the Neurocontroller that will be trained with the Back propagation algorithm. In our case, we address the design and implementation of a Neurocontroller in the LabVIEW graphical program environment under the supervision of the Simulation Toolkit. Our application is the control of a prototype physical system whose model can represent first and second order systems. The model of the process dynamics was obtained experimentally, for which the identification of parameters was ap...

Ultrasound is used for the non-destructive testing of materials. It is applied to know the inner of a material or components when processing the trajectory of the propagation of sound waves. It is know that propagation of waves inside the piece depends on the discotinuities of the material examined, which allows to evaluate the discontinuity about its form, size, direction, since these offer a resistance known as acoustic impedance. When knowing the propagation of the sound waves, its speed and therefore the property of materials are determined.

Fluorine is a chemical element, it plays a very important role in the oral cavity, bone formation in the first years of life, and it is a fundamental part in the appearance of enamel crystals. It works in the demineralization and re-mineralization processes that occur in the oral cavity, these are found in different types of food that are consumed every day, their main source of consumption is drinking water, fluorinated supplements, formula milk, toothpaste, Oral gum should be consumed with measure in its application for a good dental brushing since excess fluoride can cause a pathology called dental fluorosis, which is why the supervision of adults is recommended at the time of oral hygiene in children. The objective of this literature review is to sensitize parents and health professionals about application protocols and their appropriate use of fluorine compounds, helping to preven...

In vitro embryo production (IVP) is a biotechnology applied to different species of domestic and wild mammals, in addition to humans. IVP includes the in vitro maturation of oocytes (IVM), in vitro fertilization of matured oocytes (IVF) and the in vitro culture of fertilized oocytes (IVC). In the IVM and IVC processes there is an increase in levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) that generate higher levels of oxidative stress, which together with a deficient antioxidant system in in vitro conditions can affect these processes. Faced with this situation, the maturation media are supplemented with antioxidant compounds such as cysteamine (CYS), which is an amino thiol (SCH2CH2NH) of low molecular weight (77.1 g/mol), has its own antioxidant activity, promotes the transport of cysteine to the interior of the cell and favours the synthesis of glutathione (GSH). Research on the use of CYS i...

When we started to study post operatively our patients operated on with the porta acigos disconnection in whom we ligate the splenic artery and the short vessels with the technique we described in 1981, we found that the patients subject to this procedure have no alteration in their splenic circulation. An anatomic research study determined that the spleen is also irrigated by the left gastroepliploic artery which it has not being described before. This finding simplifies our surgical disconnection procedure because now it is not necessary the ligation of the splenic artery. At the present time the gastroepiploic artery can be also used in another surgical procedures.

Overweight is a serious problem in Peru, and compliance with a healthy and balanced diet is essential for its management. Despite the existence of different types of diets and meal plans, people still find it difficult to comply with the treatment. Also, lack of access to adequate nutritional information and lack of follow-up in implementing a low-calorie diet can demotivate people and reduce the effectiveness of the process. To reduce this problem, a mobile application is presented that allows the control of the caloric intake of food, based on food suggestions using Machine Learning. For this purpose, the Support Vector Machine algorithm is applied to train a model that recommends personalized food to users according to their preferences. This is how the application allows users to easily access personalized food recommendations by analyzing their preferences and caloric needs individu...

The recent detections of gravitational waves have brought renewed attention to the problem of obtaining high accuracy predictions for the gravitational radiation spectra emitted by binary systems with black holes or neutron stars constituents. This work explains how effective field theory applied to gravitation can be used to describe a gravitationally interacting extended object as in the binary system case. Gravitational wave emission from the binary system is shown by using methods that are usually applied in quantum field theory.

The paper we present is the result of a new method used in the classes of Accessible Translation in the Master of Professional Translation at the University of Granada. This subject belongs to the unit of Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility developed since 2014 when this Master started. Our main goal was to apply the modality of accessible translation into different tourist spaces and to innovate in the teaching of translation. The methodology was based on the application of socio-constructivist theories in Accessible Translation. Specifically, we were to teach how to prepare the audio descriptions for two architectural spaces: the façade of the Granada Cathedral and the façade of the Sagrario Church, also in Granada. The audio description of these two spaces was the ideal context (macro text) for the students to go beyond the classroom, and to experience firsthand the epistemolo...
