Digital media allows the emergence of different activities that provide new ways to participate in social and political life. The Internet allows reaching groups that are normally inactive or less active in conventional or offline forms of political participation. We sought to explore the influence that frequency of Internet connection, Internet social participation and political discussion (talk about politics) have on political participation on the Internet in three different generations (n = 502, age: 18-67). The youngest participants presented a higher frequency of connection and activities on the Internet, while the older generational group exhibited a greater frequency of political discussion. In general , the three variables are relevant to explain political activity on the Internet; however, the weight of each variable is different depending on the generation considered.

This study aimed to explore the relationship between parental disciplinary practices and internet addiction. 568 adolescents participated. A Sociodemographic Questionnaire, the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) and the Dimensions of Discipline Inventory - Form C (DDI-C) were used. 73.1% of users with mild and moderate addiction were identified. Mothers showed greater use of all disciplinary dimensions. Differences were found only in the father's inductive discipline, depending on the family setting. However, there were no differences between adolescents from different family setting regarding internet addiction. Associations were observed between parental disciplinary dimensions and internet addiction. Finally, the punitive discipline of the mother and father and the inductive discipline of the mother, were predictors of internet addiction.

En la presente investigación, se propuso identificar los Usos y Gratificaciones que las estudiantes de primero, segundo y tercer grado de secundaria de la I.E.P. María de Nazaret en Cajamarca experimentan en Internet en el año 2023. Se empleó una metodología básica con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y descriptivo. La muestra incluyó a 76 alumnas de 1ro a 5to de secundaria, a quienes se les administró un cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos. Los cánones de belleza han generado en las mujeres sentimientos de culpa y rechazo si no se encontraban dentro de ellos. Las redes sociales permitieron que estas comparaciones sean cada vez más fuertes. De esta manera, se crearon políticas corporales dañinas para la salud mental, ya que se muestran cuerpos casi inalcanzables, lo que lleva a problemas de autoestima y desórdenes alimenticios. Abstract The University as an institution has suffered the impact of the new advances in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Internet. The purpose of this theoretical approach is to explore, from a postmodern and posthumanist perspective, philosophical-epistemological reflections on the new scenarios through which the Peruvian university is going and will go through to reorient its goals: as a challenge and ontological objective, in the face of the renewed demands of society. of the third millennium. The methodology used is qualitative through a proposal of discourse analysis and its own argumentative apparatus. The result assumes the need to initiate a change in the conception of the university and promote a mental revolution in all the agents involved in the university institutional environment.

Pollinosis is one of the most extended allergies in the world, determining directly the quality of life of the population. Airborne pollen forecasting has become a key objective for allergists and aerobiologists trying to prevent the symptoms of hay fever. Google trends is a tool developed by Google, which provides information about the dynamics of user searches through internet. The main aim of this work is to conduct a preliminary assessment of the usefulness of this tool to detect the presence of large concentrations of pollen in the atmosphere and to explore the impact of pollinosis among the population.
