This article seeks to analyze the function of the International Criminal Court (ICC) from the analytical horizon of critical studies and the particular contributions of the Helsinki School and social idealism. To achieve this objective, the main postulates of both perspectives are compared towards the concept of international criminal justice (ICJ), in general, and towards the performance of the ICC in its time of validity, in particular. The methodology used is that of a documentary analysis with a strong inclination towards texts of a theoretical, doctrinal and jurisprudential nature.

The article explores one of the aspects of Heidegger's existential analytic – everyday dealings with ready-to-hand equipment (tools). The author’s aim is to analyze the phenomenon of equipment in a broader perspective to widen the borders of everyday being-in-the-world characterized by routine nonthematic dealings with things that distract man from his true being. The author claims that in everyday use man discovers only functionality of equipment which cannot be considered its genuine grasp. The actual knowledge of things is accessible mainly to their creators for whom they are not ready-to-hand tools but the aim of their thematic investigative thought. Purpose: The technical feasibility of using Benford's law to assist internal auditors in reviewing the integrity of high-volume data sets is analysed. This study explores whether Benford's distribution applies to the set of numbers represented by the quantity of records (size) that comprise the different tables that make up a state-owned enterprise's (SOE) enterprise resource planning (ERP) relational database. The use of Benford's law streamlines the search for possible abnormalities within the ERP system's data set, increasing the ability of the internal audit functions (IAFs) to detect anomalies within the database. Diabetic foot is one of the main complications of diabetes mellitus; however, in hospitals of provinces from Perú, the relationship of this condition with hospital stay has not been calculated. Objective: To determine the association between hospitalization time and diabetic foot in three hospitals from Cusco, Perú. Methods: A cross-sectional study of secondary data analysis was conducted. We analyzed the data of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to the internal medicine service between January and December 2016, in three tertiary hospitals in Cusco, Peru. Correlation coefficients and p-values were calculated using generalized linear models, with Gaussian family and identity function, adjusted by intervening variables. Introduction: Schizophrenia is associated to progressive deterioration of the person’s skills in several areas of life. However this fact has not been studied in our population. Objective: To identify the effect of schizophrenia on functioning according to time. Design: Analytical correlational, cross-sectional observational study. Location: Hospital Hermilio Valdizan, Lima, Peru. Participants: Outpatient subjects diagnosed with schizophrenia. Interventions. Generating agricultural suitability analyses that are objective, consistent, and accessible through digital platforms remains a technical and methodological challenge, creating an information gap for certain stakeholders. To address this issue, we assessed the territorial suitability of the Cajamarca region for coffee and cocoa cultivation using 18 subcriteria grouped into climatic, edaphological, topographic, and socioeconomic categories.
