This article reviews what happened with the oil spill at La Pampilla refinery and the negative impacts it caused to the coastal marine ecosystem and to artisanal fishermen and residents who live from tourism and local gastronomy in the Ancon district; as well as the strategies implemented by the private sector and by the Peruvian government to date, to manage such negative externalities affecting the environment and said stakeholders. Based on this review, some proposals for action are presented, which will remain for discussion or as contributions, for remeasurthe damaged ecosystem, and reactivatng artisanal fishing and the local economy in the short, medium and long term in the Ancon district.

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el uso de las alternativas medicinales en el tratamiento de enfermedades hepáticas en usuarios de las Boticas del Distrito de José María Arguedas - Provincia de Andahuaylas. El tipo de investigación es observacional y transversal, el nivel es descriptivo simple, la muestra estuvo formada por 120 usuarios. Los resultados muestran que el 68,3% de los usuarios utilizan como alternativa para prevenir o tratar enfermedades hepáticas plantas medicinales, el 22.5% del total de encuestados utiliza el Diente de león, seguido de cola de caballo con 11.7% del total. En conclusión, el estudio revela una proporción alta del 68% utilizan las plantas como alternativa para prevenir o tratar principalmente la esteatosis hepática.

Antecedentes: En el 2018, la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) estimó que el 24% de la población mundial presentaba parasitosis, en especial aquellos pertenecientes a países en vías de desarrollo. En el Perú son muy pocos los estudios realizados que determinan la frecuencia de parasitosis intestinal (PI). El hospital nacional de nivel II-1 José Hernán Soto Cadenillas (JHSC) es uno de los principales establecimientos de salud de Chota que ha recopilado información desde el año 2 011 sobre PI; sin embargo, esta no ha sido analizada. This note reports observations on the distribution Lontra felina (Molina, 1782) "marine otter" in eight new sites located in the district of Ventanilla, in the region of Callao, as well as in the districts of Santa Rosa, Ancón and Aucallama, in Lima, Perú. The fieldwork was carried out between January and June 2022 and six live animals and four freshly dead otters were observed. Both Bahía Blanca, in the district of Ventanilla, and the beaches of the Navy Club at Ancón, were the locations with more observations.

In June 2012, as a result of a marine phenomenon that resulted in the death of birds of several species of seabirds, endoparasites were studied in two pelicans (Pelecanus thagus) and two penguins (Spheniscus humboldti) found dead on the beach in the district of Chorrillos, Lima (Peru). The helminths were obtained from the digestive tract in both species using the Travassos protocols. The nematodes Contracaecum rudolphii and Syngamus trachea, the cestode Tetrabothrius sp, the trematode Galactosomum puffini and the acanthocephalan Corynosoma sp were identified in Pelecanus thagus. In Spheniscus humboldti, the trematode Cardiocephaloides physalis and the nematodes Contracaecum pelagicum and Cyathostoma phenisci were identified. The study seeks to identify the relationship between tax collection and budget allocation at the level of the province of Maynas during the period 2020-2024, considering a quantitative, observational approach and a correlational non experimental design, including a population made up of tax and budget data from the province of Maynas. The results show a positive and statistically significant correlation between both variables (ρ = 0.882; p = 0.000), indicating that districts with higher collections receive higher budget allocations. However, marked inequalities were identified in the territorial distribution of resources. Objetivos. Determinar los factores asociados a velocidad de marcha lenta en adultos mayores de la comunidad residentes en un distrito de Lima, Perú. Materiales y métodos. Estudio de análisis de base de datos secundario. Se incluyó a los adultos mayores de 60 años y se excluyó aquellos con condiciones que no garantizaban la evaluación de la marcha. La variable dependiente fue la velocidad de marcha lenta, menor a 1 m/s, y las variables independientes fueron sociodemográficas, clínicas y de valoración geriátrica integral. Se calcularon las razones de prevalencia (RP) crudas y ajustadas con intervalos de confianza al 95% (IC95%). Resultados. Antecedentes: La comprensión auditiva cumple un papel fundamental durante la adquisición del lenguaje oral y la comunicación. Además, favorece el lenguaje expresivo y un mejor aprendizaje durante la etapa escolar del niño. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de comprensión auditiva del lenguaje en niños de 5 a 6 años 11 meses de cuatro instituciones educativas del distrito de Independencia. Material y Métodos: Estudio de diseño descriptivo, observacional, de tipo transversal que se ejecutó mediante la aplicación del Test para la Comprensión Auditiva del Lenguaje (TECAL), que evalúa el vocabulario, la morfología y la sintaxis, a 96 niños. The study investigates the incidence of delinquency in the collection of property tax in the District Municipality of Punchana for the years 2021-2023. A total of 384 taxpayers were surveyed using a quantitative approach research, non experimental design and correlational scope to evaluate their tax culture and knowledge, as well as the success of the municipality's distribution plans used. The results revealed that poor tax culture, distrust in municipal management and low effectiveness of dissemination techniques influence non-payment; thus, delinquency negatively influences property tax collection. It is argued that the main ways to reduce delinquency and maximize municipal revenues are to improve tax education, expand transparency and update collection systems.
