This quantitative change is bringing about a qualitative transformation as the HE sector is becoming one more globalized industry. Together with this growth, the academic offer of study programs delivered in a foreign language (most frequently-English) is also incrementing the level of complexity that HEIs while managing the cultural diversity of the university auditorium. HEIs are naturally lured into his attractive prospect to welcome a larger number of students; however, few are the HEIs truly ready and able to face the challenges that such complex phenomenon implies. The research sought to apply formative research, using strategies such as information gathering, research seminar and monograph to improve communication and research skills in university students. These strategies were linked to a profile of a promoter teacher that manages research methodology and incorporates it into their pedagogical practice. The research corresponds to the quantitative approach and the experimental level, with a quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test. The sample consisted of 77 students (experimental group) and 63 (control group), who were applied pre and post test to measure their communication skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and investigative (observe, describe, analyze, synthesize and interpret). The instruments used to collect data were the written test and the rubric. The statistical analysis was based on the difference of means with...

A good management of energy consumption in luminaire is subject to an application of techniques or technologies that help to automate its use more effectively. In this case, we speak of an Inmotic System of the Internet of Things, a Place of a Service, a Presence of a System, an Intelligent Building or an Intelligent Building, which has the objective of the integrated and automated management of almost all the functionalities of a building such as electricity, lighting, air conditioning, etc. It is also an Internet of Things system for the connectivity and the management of the devices for the control of the intensity of the luminosity according to the movement and the level of natural light in an environment, acting autonomously or controlled from a web application This means a reduction of 40% in the energy expenditure in the luminaire, which meets one of the criteria of an intelligent...

Climate change directly affects crops worldwide, posing an increasing threat to agricultural production and food security. The aim of this study was to design an Internet of Things (IoT) station to monitor microclimates and soil conditions. A system was implemented consisting of central nodes (ESP32 LILYGO T-SIM7000G with the RF module nRF24L01) and secondary nodes (NodeMCU-32, based on the ESP32 microcontroller), equipped with sensors to measure environmental and soil variables such as humidity, temperature, pressure, UV radiation, wind speed, as well as conductivity, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The devices used included a digital rain gauge MS-WH-SP-RG, a BME 280 sensor, an NPK soil sensor JXBS-3001-NPK-RS, a UV sensor CJMCU-GUVA-S12SD, an anemometer JL-FS2, and a weather vane B08N52YR8Z. The collected data was transmitted via the cloud platform ThingSpeak, and a web interface...

The impact of Early Child Care attendance on the first language skills of 725 boys and girls from 16 to 30 months living in Buenos Aires and its periphery is analyzed. The fathers and/or mothers filled in the regional adaptation of the Mac Arthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventory and an ad hoc sociodemographic questionnaire. Results indicated significant differences in favor of the children who attended Early Child Care centers, although only after two years old. Early Child Care attendance had a compensating effect for children of mothers with a lower educational level. These data speak in favor of the need to promote public policies that guarantee access to quality educational services for early childhood.

In this work we will review that, faced with the communicative barrier of incomprehension posed by judicial language, the movement of language accessible to citizens and vulnerable populations arises for their protection. Trend that arose when Englishspeaking countries as a target of Transparency supported the «Plain Language Movement»; and that other countries develop the right to simple language in the government sphere; including people in vulnerable situations. Thus, we will expose its evolution, the Brasilia Rules on simple language, language accessible to citizens and the vulnerable population, inclusive language, easy language, its development and application in Peru and Latin America. We conclude that language accessible to citizens and the vulnerable population contributes to the protection of their rights; and that the Peruvian Judiciary has not consolidated its practice.

The scientific problems of educational research emerge from the knowledge of the current state of development of the subject to be investigated. The first stage is the diagnosis, the application of instruments, for exploratory purposes, such as interviews, surveys, observations, etc .; where the researcher, regardless of his object of study, unravels, establishes or determines problematic situations with his prospects for solution. Metaphorically speaking, every problematic situation comes with the formulation of the problem under the arm; But setting it up as a viable, novel and relevant scientific problem requires motivation and specific problematization skills in its multiple solution perspectives. Depending on the focus and skills of the researcher, there are up to two basic possibilities: to successfully pass from the problematic situation to the formulation of the scientific ...
