The article seeks to establish, to some extent, the concepts of the teaching that faculty handles. Also, it tries to demystify some “truths” and stereotypes about teaching and that some sectors of the university teachers are still expressing. It also stresses the fact that for exercise teaching it is required a prior preparation since the intuitive education now is not only inappropriate but even dangerous. University teachers need a double profession: the profession itself and that provided by specific teacher preparation for aspects of teaching and pedagogy. Finally, it clearly differentiates the various levels of intervention in the classroom: the presentation, the giving of classes and teaching, stating clearly that to give classes and teaching is not the same thing. The first is often amateurish work obliged and the second is effective and illustrated expertise.

The paper presents the results of the analysis of technological education, namely the identification of educational technology and the technological process. It was found that most major technology creators transform both their ideas and their techniques into modern technological operations as well as educational technologies. The authors propose that the training process may be regarded as technological in nature and the one that embraces the same methods of analysis (including activity approaches). In other words, the analysis of the educational process is identical to the analysis of technological process. In methodological terms, the closest to that step sequence is project-based learning. The conclusion is reached by drawing on the analysis of training processes in general and on the analysis of operational training in particular including the step-by-step performance of certain tec...

This paper addresses the self-management processes of change, referring to a series of processes that take place in education centers undergoing change. The perspective from which the approach is proposed is educational management. The evidences integrated into the document are the result of a study conducted in Uruguay, which involved seven primary, secondary, and technical schools. The approach used has been the study of multiple cases with the intention of analyzing the phenomenon in specific contexts, integrating the possibility of studying it from a global perspective. The overall objective was to achieve greater understanding of the self-evaluation and change processes in schools. Within the specific objectives we highlight: to identify the possible links between self-assessment and decision making

In social historical development, the base and foundation categories make up two different issues, but in turn, intrinsically connected. There is no object, field or social dimension beyond its reach. Perhaps, metaphorically speaking, base and foundation make up the seal and face of the same coin. The variables, categories, concepts, definitions, assumptions, judgments, reasoning and arguments are determined by their bases and foundations. In this article we intend to answer the questions What do we call base? And what do we call foundation? Two essential issues important for educational scientific research.

This article aims to a research problem that emphasizes the necessity to guide and organize schoolchildren’s cognitive activities. In a situation when cognition becomes the leading activity, new opportunities are opened up for the organization of the whole educational process, including its other aspects such as – development, and learning. The experiment conducted revealed problem points of organizing the process of cognition as well as the necessity for collecting additional data for a future experiment. The paper also puts forward the idea of a correlation between the hierarchical system of principles of education and types of adequacy.
