The objective of this study was to evaluate the perfomance of the process of lamination of the endosperm of corn in an agricultural company by means of the capability indices of processes, (PCI), low two focuses: traditional and bayesian. Both PCI was evaluated with simulated data under different suppositions. To the real case the results obtained by the bayesian PCI were Ĉb (D) = 0,81, while the traditional was Ĉp = 0,46 and Ĉpk = 0,81. It is concluded that the process of lamination is not capable. With regard to the simulated data, the results correspond to 100 samples of size 50, under three conditions: 1) the process is capable, centered and normal distributed. 2) It not process capable, not centered and normal. 3) The process is lightly capable, not centered and normal. Being concluded that so much in the condition 1 as in the 2, it is obtained that the index bayesian is smaller ...

Determining the processes capabilities in companies that develop software is an issue that has gained interest because through them they can be classifi ed at a certain level of capability or maturity, depending on the model used. In addition, some companies have a set of established practices and working methods, in the case of Peru is often based on Rational Unifi ed Process (RUP). This paper presents the theoretical evaluation of the processes capabilities in the operation category of software processes model Moprosoft under the assumption that an organization has properly implemented a set of minimal elements of RUP.

Designing a performance metric by the fuzzy logic, the purpose of which is incorporated more aspects of the management processes of any organization including those subjective. To show how this metric was applied prior to a billing process of a company of herbicides, where this metric was constructed by traditional indicators of efficiency and effectiveness, producing fuzzy performance measures. The results show that this fuzzy measure performance is stable and valid as it is built on classical performance indicators already familiar with the properties they own. These metrics diff se somehow standardize the processes of the organization. The construction of the software and the results obtained from the fuzzy logic module of MATLAB version 7.0 (fuzzy toolbox).

Disruptive technologies and their impact on journalism and communication force us to assume challenges in learning new techniques for data and information processing. Interdisciplinary knowledge is evident in the teaching of new professional profiles. Data journalism is an example of this, so the immersion into a data culture must be preceded by awareness in the learning of news applications, algorithms or the treatment of Big Data, elements that configure new paradigms among journalists of the media on the Internet. With the revision of texts, direct observation of selected applications and case study, some conclusions are established that contain a growing demand in the knowledge of new techniques. The results show the use of technological resources and the proposal of changes in the curricula of the communication faculties.

Objective. The objective of the current study was to evaluate critical nutrients of industrialized foods and compare them with the technical parameters established in the Peruvian regulations, in its two stages of implementation, referring to front-of-package labeling before the beginning of its validity in June 2019. Methods. Cross-sectional study in which the critical nutrients of sodium, total sugar, saturated fat and transfat were analyzed from data declared in the nutritional labels of 511 processed and ultra-processed foods that were part of the products purchased for the consumption of 88 families of students from one private university in Lima. The main goal of this research is to demonstrate that the use of innovative technology like business intelligence (BI) in a specific type of business significantly impacts their sales processes, enhancing decision-making, promotional strategies, and consequently customer loyalty and sales growth. The case study is a manufacturing business located in Lima, Peru. The information requirements of this business were analyzed, and a data mart model was created using the Kimball methodology. This research will serve as a precedent for other studies that aim to improve the production processes of textile and apparel companies by proposing a preventive solution for excess fabric waste that results from the production process. The study will also provide insights into reducing the amount of excess fabric waste in the marking and cutting areas via the manufacture of additional clothing items and accessories. Consequently, by efficiently allocating resources to make optimal use of seasonal material, costs can be reduced, ultimately leading to improved profitability for the textile knitwear company.

This paper presents a study that aimed to determine the mechanism of a process for Cr(VI) removal from aqueous solutions, using compost of carnation crop residues as the adsorbent. We assessed whether the microbiota present in the absorbent material affected the removal of Cr(VI) using respirometric measurements and evaluating the removal capacity using sterilized and not sterilized compost. Additionally, the compost was analysed before and after carrying out the Cr(VI) removal process, by quantification of the acidic functional groups and kinetic monitoring of pH, conductivity and redox potential difference. In the present study, the control of the pyrolysis temperature was carried out in a gasification process of eucalyptus wood, its prediction is made based on the operating parameters of the reactor to ensure the obtaining of a synthesis gas with the required quality. The results obtained from the mathematical modeling for the prediction of the pyrolysis temperature with the use of artificial intelligence techniques and the development of artificial neural networks are shown, with experimental data of the process. For this reason, an experimental statistical design of type 3n was implemented, with two additional replications, by means of which the training of an artificial neural network capable of predicting the pyrolysis temperature in a downdraft type gasifier with cogeneration was carried out. In this study, an analysis of pre-trial proceedings is made, given the new scenario of programming virtual hearings and the subsequent procedural burden that will arise once the state of emergency is lifted. Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.

The incorporation of morphometric data into cladistic analyses poses methodological challenges, particularly in handling continuous characters and landmark configurations in matrices that include multiple individuals per taxon. Although the program TNT (Tree analysis using New Technology) has integrated functionalities for directly analysing continuous and morphogeometric characters, there remains a need for complementary tools that facilitate data preparation and processing. The process of producing dairy products generates a great deal of environmental contamination due to poor practices used during processing, which is why it is essential to know the degree of sustainability of this industry. The present study sought to evaluate the sustainability of the production of dairy products in the San Salvador de Quishcambal-Assaqui Agricultural Association in the town of San Salvador, Province of Luya in the Amazon Region. The ELANEM methodology was used and a survey validated by experts was used, with sustainability indicators and a double-entry matrix. For data processing, the normalization equation was used, in which the value of 1 represents an optimistic situation.
