Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is considered a neurodevelopmental disorder, whose prevalence has increased in recent years, showing in some cases deficits in the cognitive area, with processing speed (PS) being one of the affected variables. Therefore, the present study aims to: 1) compare the scores obtained in relation to the PS variable between students aged 6 to 11 with ASD and their peers with neurotypical development in Metropolitan Lima; and 2) establish the PS profile of the included students with ASD. A tres años del inicio de la pandemia el virus continúa evolucionando, ahora dentro del clado de la variante omicrón. A lo largo de este periodo, gracias a los esfuerzos en investigación básica y clínica, la pandemia está cediendo hacia una posible endemia. El presente artículo se realizó dentro de este marco de aprendizaje con el objetivo de generar nuevas metodologías para abordar el estudio de la estructura-función del virus SARS-CoV-2. Entre diciembre del 2020 y junio del 2021, la variante gamma trajo consigo una oleada de infecciones y decesos que azotaron a la población mundial, afectando principalmente a Sudamérica. This paper presents the results of a non-experimental cross-sectional study conducted under a mixed explanatory design (with manifest and latent variables), in an indigenous school in a rural area and an urban school in Morelos (Mexico). The sociodemographic context of the schools of origin was considered as a predictor variable of Mathematics achievement in 6th grade of primary school, and the educational level of the parents and family support were considered as mediating variables.
