Given the emergence of new and repeated criticisms of private property today, the tendency to question it is reinforced, even with all the ravages it produced in the last century, as is the case in some Latin American territories and in the East. Naturally, this ideological-political conflict has repercussions in Law and in its deepest foundations, that is, in the field of the philosophy of law. In view of this, the present research proposes to review the philosophical foundations that trigger the problem, starting from the premise that private property is not an immoral practice. For this purpose, the historical evolution of the concept is reviewed and it is analyzed whether its repercussions are favorable or unfavorable, to then show the economic benefits it brings with it, and to conclude by arguing that its existence is key to peace and growth in any society.

The main objective of this work is to rescue the figure of Ramiro Perez Reinoso (1901-1994), Peruvian intellectual born in the “captive Arica”, but tacneño of roots, very little studied in spite of his relevance as historical figure as much for Peru as for Chile. For this case his first writings will be studied (1918 - 1928), where his initial ideological and theoretical influences will be analyzed, which will mutate as the decade of the twenties advances and with it all the historical evolution that awaited Peru, Tacna, Arica and his own life full of comings and goings between Chile and his native country. Specifically, we seek to analyze his first appreciations on the American thinkers of his time, his philosophical and political conceptions, and his epochal interpretation of the events occurring in post-war Peru.

The following paper proposes to give arguments to relativize the extensive account that the concept of alienation lost theoretical attention in the field of philosophy during the eighties of the last century, and that a revival of the study of the concept occurred in the nineties. The conclusion is that there was no such loss of attention, but that furthermore, the presumed premises in the discussion concerning alienation from the nineties up to the present were delineated during the eighties. This conclusion has two supporters: the type of approach regarding alienation carried out by analytical Marxism and the philosophical incursions into the concept in the context of North American sociology. Based on this, the text offers a systematization of the history of the philosophical study of the concept in two sections or stages. And it concerns itself with two –and not three– stages bec...

This article will explain how higher education has some of the necessary tools to combat the elements that prevent “Latin American integration”, a goal that the Cuban philosopher Pablo Guadarrama considers of utmost importance. To do this, first its “transcendental work” in society is valued, how it questions the alienating phenomena of globalization; Consequently, its function in the face of the problem of culture will be analyzed; to finally establish its relationship with historical memory, a key issue to understand the reason for an Integration like Latin America.

This article explores the aesthetic dimension of Pedro Zulen’s thought, an aspect that has been little studied compared to his political and philosophical concerns. Based on a hermeneutic analysis of his texts, it examines his conception of expression and its relationship to image and sign in the aesthetic process. It discusses his critique of Bergson and his ambiguous assessment of poetry as a form of knowledge, identifying tensions between poetic intuition and the need for precise expression. The central hypothesis is that, in Zulen’s philosophy, poetry occupies an ambiguous place: it is criticized for its lack of contribution to rational knowledge, but also valued as a means of expressing the absolute. This ambivalence allows us to explore the place of the aesthetic in his thought.

The poetry of Arturo Corcuera (1935-2017) is one of the most relevant ones produced in Latin America between the second half of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st. In this article I propose a critical approach to the book “A bordo del Arca” (2006) from the analysis of the relationship that is established between the individual and things. This analysis, which creates a dialogue with the preceding criticism and uses theoretical conceptions mainly from philosophical thinking, will lead to a reflection on the meanings of death, friendship, and hospitality in the work of the Peruvian poet

In recent years, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility have come closer in academic research, and especially on sustainability indexes. In fact, the most significant indexes handle the matter of corporate governance along with other environmental and social criteria. The purpose of this study is to find out if all the variables included in the corporate governance dimension on the above mentioned indicators are equally relevant and material for both corporate social responsability and corporate governance. To carry out the study, a sample of academics and professionals from Spanish universities and businesses sector was taken. We defend the plausible hypothesis that not all items included within corporate governance dimension on sustainability indexes are homogeneous and interchangeable and, therefore, equally relevant. As a result, the measurements provided by these i...

The concepts of disinformation and misinformation have almost as many meanings as the number of authors who have treated them. Considered from the semiotic and psychological point of view, disinformation and misinformation seem to be the result of the inadequacy of what is communicated to the reality of an object. The focus of both Political Science and Public Relations is set on disinformation / misinformation as an example of how masses and public opinion can be manipulated, while the vision of Communication Sciences and Information considers such behaviours as natural features of the media in a clearly oversaturated communications ecosystem. This paper describes the different approaches to the topic of disinformation/misinformation made in the above mentioned scientific disciplines.

This paper analyzes the concept of conceptual relativity developed by the American philosopher Hilary Putnam, who challenges the foundations of classical realism and proposes a new way of approaching the problem of truth in science and philosophy. It emphasizes the role of language, conceptual schemes and cultural context is emphasized. The essay explores the fundamental concepts of conceptual relativity and truth. It then examines how conceptual relativity is distinguished from other philosophical positions such as metaphysical realism and cultural relativism. In addition, it examines how Putnam, inspired by classical pragmatism, redefines the notion of truth within his proposal of natural realism. The most important criticisms that other philosophers have made against Putnam´s notion of conceptual relativity are also studied. Finally, a reflection is made on the impact of these ideas ...

The paper analyzes four poetic texts selected from El olmo incierto de la nevada, posthumous collection of poems by Pedro Salvino Zulen Aymar (1889-1925), published in 1930 in Lima, by Chenyek printing press, with the respective authorization of Dora Mayer. These texts are «El olmo incierto de la nevada» (poetic prose), the poems «El poema sin nombre», «El poema de una lágrima» and «Humano fragor», in order to propose that Pedro Zulen’s poetic produc-tion is in a liminal state between the western and the eastern, terms that I use to explain how both are amalgamated in the posthumous collection of poems by Zulen. The western is suggested by references to Romanticism (18th-19th centuries), Modernism (19th-20th centuries) and the Spanish-American Vanguard (mid-20th century), while the eastern by references to Eastern-born religious and philosophical systems such as zen buddhism a...
