The constitutional recognition of Black people in Mexico took place through a lengthy process involving Black populations, authorities, activists, and the sometimes-contradictory efforts of Mexican and foreign scholars. This article analyzes how Mexican blackness is constructed in texts from the American academy, as it has had the greatest exposure and impact in global academic discourse. Specifically, it refers to works that Mexican anthropologists acknowledge as having significant influence in the field of Afro-Mexican studies. The purpose of this analysis is to demonstrate how these works originate from a hegemonic locus of enunciation that privileges a first-world experience, hindering the understanding of the Black Mexican experience.

The article presents a selective review of the literature that exposes and analyzes the results of ten empirical studies on the consequences of the application of economic incentives in academia in a context of global transformation of the university. The first part presents a brief description of incentive systems known as merit pay plans, their main characteristics and the objectives of their implementation. The second part presents the main research findings developed in the USA, Germany, Australia, Estonia, Pakistan, Argentina and Mexico, and the reported effects on productivity, motivation and teacher satisfaction. Concludes with the discussion of critical aspects in the implementation and evaluation of merit-based payment systems.

La presente investigación busca analizar el impacto de los países de América Latina (México y Chile) cuando fueron admitidos a la ODCE. La metodología es de tipo descriptivo, deductivo y analítico. In the academic careers of subfields like Journalism, the communicational field is at a crisis caused by the gap between theory accumulation and knowledge reproduction. Thirty years ago, Verón and Martín-Barbero proposed a new approach, displacing analysis of the media to mediations. In 2008, Scolari started focusing in the hypermediations, consisting of forwards, hybridization and contaminations. In 2009, Castells put emphasis on the observation of social transformations provoked by mass auto-communication. While we must think in dismassification and fragmentation, obsolete notions like massive culture or cultural industry resist, reducing the profession to a poor monologue with little incidence in the informative management. The subject of this paper is to discuss the factors that disturb the connection between two academic plans necessarily interdependent.

El artículo se enfoca en los jóvenes neo-rurales de la Costa Chica del Estado de Guerrero (México), se utiliza la manera en que ellos se autodenominan o identifican: morenos, costeños y negros. Grupos que siendo significativos estadísticamente, han estado parcialmente descuidados por la academia. Este estudio trata de entender las construcciones locales/regionales de las identidades juveniles neo-rurales, así como de los elementos internos y externos que influyen y modifican estas construcciones y expresiones diversas de lo juvenil en la región.

In the context of an information and knowledge society in which technological development is moving ahead at a staggering speed, probing the sense of sufficiency in the graduates active in the field of work is presented as an imperative need for the profession´s improvement and its teaching. The objective of this study is to determine the journalistic perception about university education and the satisfaction level of journalists with their university education, including aspects of technical, theoretical and practical management. The results of an investigation are presented whose objective is to analyze the media coverage of violence against men –mainly physical– in Mexican and Colombian newspapers, with the purpose of establishing the visibility and treatment that the selected media give to this type of violence, based on aspects such as length of journalistic texts, genres and sources used, and analysis of the use of language; Furthermore, recognize whether discursive practices constitute forms of symbolic violence that stigmatize masculinity. La investigación, tiene como objetivo: determinar si las capacidades dinámicas el capital social y la orientación al mercado influyen positivamente en el desempeño empresarial en las empresas de servicios turísticos localizadas en el estado de Nuevo León, México. The debate on public policies and regulations for digital platforms constitutes an urgent topic for communication sciences. This article aims to provide a theoretical-analytical approach to emerging dimensions in research on communication policies in platform capitalism in Latin America. El propósito de la presente tesis es de homogeneizar el criterio de las oficinas consulares del Perú en el exterior en cuanto a la inscripción de adopciones de menores de edad realizadas en el exterior por nacionales peruanos. En primer lugar, se detallará el marco legal que rige el procedimiento y las características de la adopción en el Perú. Posteriormente, se analizará los casos de Estados Unidos, Francia, España, Italia, Ecuador y México; países donde se encuentra regulada la adquisición de la nacionalidad de los adoptantes por parte de los menores adoptados. Para finalizar, se realizará una propuesta para la regulación de la inscripción de las adopciones de menores de edad realizadas en el exterior.

In times where the consumer is able to find what he wants without being interrupted by advertising, advertisers are required to expand their messages through new alternatives that connect the audience with the brand in an attractive way. The advergame is part of these new tools as it seeks to retain consumers through interactive games that represent the brand’s values, characteristics and benefits. To understand the influence of this advertising tool in Lima’s youth, this article makes an analysis on the attitude they generate towards the brand depending on the treatment that is given in the game, the exposure time and other variables.

En menos de cinco años el Perú celebrará los doscientos años de su existencia como estado-nación. Sin embrago, todavía no existe un plan de actividades o proyectos concretos (que involucre a la totalidad del estado) para celebrarlo. Teniendo esto en cuenta, este trabajo busca encontrar lecciones y pautas que puedan ser implementadas en el marco de la comisión multisectorial que estará a cargo de la Conmemoración del Bicentenario de la Independencia del Perú. Primero, se ha realizado un estudio del centenario peruano, reconstruyendo los procesos históricos y sociales que lo acompañaron. De la misma manera se han hecho breves estudios de caso de las conmemoraciones de los bicentenarios de los países miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico: Chile, Colombia y México, llegando de esta manera a conclusiones que puedan responder la pregunta central de este trabajo.
