This essay explores how the interrelations between the chronicles of the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and the Palentino and the Peruvian Traditions of Ricardo Palma take place. It would be a question of investigating the degree of dependence of Palma with the chronicles of the mentioned authors and in what aspects there is such a relationship. Thus, when making the analysis of several traditions, we will find the links of the traditions with the approach of the chronicle, but in turn, it can be perceived that there is a process of mutation or adaptation that makes Palma’s style particular. Certainly, anecdotal episodes in the chronicles are not the central purpose in the chronicler; while for Palma, each episode constitutes an autonomousstory, with structure and treatment that requires a short story.

This article delves into the link between discourse and health. The objective of study is examining the experiences of institutional violence that patients with endometriosis have suffered through the analysis of the argumentation. The methodological framework is eminently qualitative. The corpus consists of thirty semi-structured interviews with Chilean women with diagnosed endometriosis. The argumentative schemes (Toulmin, 1958; Pardo, 2011 and Molina, 2012) present in the autobiographical accounts of these women when they deal with an episode of institutional violence suffered are analyzed. Introduction: The variations of the intentional monitoring carried out by university students on attributes and temporalities of complex learning are analyzed. Objective: to identify the structural relationships between affective and cognitive attributes considered at different times of performance in two tasks of academic skills. Method: intentional sample of 420 students of Higher Education of Mexico and Colombia, of both sexes, answered: a) an inventory of the self-report on variations in attributes and temporal moments in two different tasks and b) two tests, one of comprehension of texts and another of mathematical skills. The article analyzes the place of the media in the construction of experiences and meanings about insecurity, giving an account of findings and theoretical-methodological keys that contribute to the approach of the diffuse power of the media in this phenomenon. It is part of an investigation carried out in the city of Córdoba between 2016 and 2018, in which we inquire about the relationships between the media system, the transformations of the public space and the link between the police journalistic genre and the ways in which subjects experience insecurity. Legal changes about family Law in Spain are important in recent past. One reason for this is the social change with a predicable storytelling in the Press. Relationships, engagements, marriages and families are an important content in gossip press, so this paper wants to measure their presence in this kind of press. That’s why this study analyzes the selection of news and their values in the covers of the most important Spanish gossip magazine, ¡Hola! from 2000 to 2004, the period of legal changes.

The author gives an overview of the political communication’s most important elements, which begins with an epistemological status’s reflection and their field’s identity. He goes on with the relationship between political communication and marketing –understood as the bureaucratic sophistry’s shape, in the frame of Max Weber’s ideal types-, and analyses the frames, the stories and the game language’s relevance. He also examines the Internet’s emergence, an historic new wich acts on the two political communication dimensions: the democracy agonistic and the social tie. Brief conclusions close the article

This article deals with the short story ‘La vida gris’ (The Grey Life) by the Peruvian writer Julio Ramon Ribeyro. This story is important in Ribeyro’s short story writing because it is the first published short story and brings together several themes that are essential for the understanding of his writing. Therefore, the aim of this paper is the analysis of this story and the approach to two essential themes, namely, existence and Man. Este artigo examina os significados interpessoais multimodais utilizados para a expressão da intersubjetividade em epew. A partir de uma perspetiva discursiva crítica e multimodal, o objetivo geral é compreender como as posições intersubjectivas se manifestam nos modos verbal escrito e visual nestas narrativas. Com base nos fundamentos teórico-metodológicos da linguística funcional sistémica, em particular no modelo avaliatividade (Martin e White, 2005; Oteíza, 2021; White, 2021), bem como na proposta de análise de imagens da semiótica social (Kress e van Leeuwen 2006/2021; Painter et al., 2013), foram analisadas três epew, na sua versão espanhola, que tratam da relação homem-natureza. Este artículo analiza los cuentos «El carrito» del libro Los peligros de fumar en la cama y «El chico sucio» que corresponde al volumen Las cosas que perdimos en el fuego, en los cuales se evidencia una relación tensa entre sujetos de distintos estratos económicos. Para el análisis de estos relatos se hace uso del concepto de «aporofobia» enunciado por Adela Cortina, quien propone el término para hacer visible un problema social que se está acentuando en Europa producto de la llegada de inmigrantes que arriban en busca de mejores condiciones de vida. Los cuentos trabajados en el presenta artículo presentan sujetos marginales y empobrecidos con características grotescas o monstruosas, como estrategia narrativa para indagar en esa incapacidad de entendimiento de grupos sociales que pueden confluir en un mismo espacio, que aún así están muy distantes.

Purpose. This study examines the presence of female creators and the prominence of female protagonists in Spanish television fiction produced for video-on-demand platforms between 2016 and 2024. The main objective is to identify gender inequalities in audiovisual creation and in the configuration of leading characters, as well as to analyze the relationship between the gender of the creative team and the representation of main characters in the narratives. Methodology. To achieve this, a mixed-methods approach is employed, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis on a sample of n = 222 Spanish series released on streaming platforms. No solo se trata de un fenómeno europeo, que sigue a rajatabla los preceptos del fascismo de los años 30 o 40 del anterior siglo, sino que estamos ante unas formaciones políticas que proliferan por todo el mundo y que desarrollan rasgos propios en función a los contextos particulares en los que aparecen.
