Recreation is a universal cultural and intangible patrimony. Besides, it has to do with all those experiences lived and felt by a human being while a transformation takes place towards it that he wishes, needs and gasps. But, the recreation has been confused with entertainment and amusement, elements that form a way of being and a way of thinking producing a cultural emptying of the recreation turning it into a banal and instrumental matter. And do not think that this is neutral and innocent. On the contrary, it is a trend that marks the fingerprint of a neocoloniality. This way, the recreation is done, is bought and sold, is programmed and is planned, offers to the measurement the one who can buy it and the one who can pay it, leaving of side the experience humanizes as vital point.

The Cognitive Role of φαινόμενα and its Scientific Use in Aristotle’s Treatises of Science”. We examine a classical discussion about the meaning of the term φαινόμενα in Aristotle. We criticize G. E. L. Owen’s interpretation who identifies its meaning with that of opinion (ἔνδοξα). Based on Aristotle’s treatises of science we propound another interpretation about this topic. Thus, we may emphasize the cognitive role that φαινόμενα have; for this, we highlight the functionthat they have while there are source of the knowledge of principles (cf. APr. I 30) as well as that they are judges of theoretical proposal with which they are in contradiction. In effect, one of the problems to be resolved is how is it possible that a contradiction exists between the principles of a science and the φαινόμενα.

This paper focuses on two cases corresponding to parties and candidates situated more to the right than usual and, therefore, described as far right. These cases are Jair Bolsonaro, former candidate of the Social Liberal Party and current president of Brazil after winning in the second round of the general elections of October 7, 2018 with 55.1% of the votes; and Vox, the party which achieved parliamentary representation in Spain for the first time after the general elections of April 28, 2019 and is currently the third parliamentary force with 15, 09 % of the votes and 52 seats. For both, we propose to study the use of anti-feminist political discourse as an electoral tool. In spite of the differences in the electoral systems and in the institutional designs of both countries - one presidential and the other parliamentary - both cases share the fact that the candidates have managed to co...

In this article we will analyse the tradition «La endemoniada», by Ricardo Palma, which tells the story of demonic possession and the consequences of exorcising Ursulita. It also reveals the lack of ethics and morals on the part of Fray Gil, who supposedly exorcised her. Based on this tradition, our research will focus on the psychological disorder called schizophrenia. Since the 16th century, this disorder has generated confusion among people, as religion has demonised it, while science has sought various treatments for its cure. Finally, we will review the case of Vilma Trujillo, who was burned in an alleged act of exorcization.

Populism has been a phenomenon widely studied in Latin America. However, his analysis has been focused on the implications that it has for democracy. In contrast, little inquiry has been conducted about the unknown effects on the democratic conceptions of the population. This research investigates how citizen attitudes are affected in relation to the political system when there is a constant undermining of democratic institutions by populist politicians? In that sense, the cases of Venezuela, Ecuador and Bolivia are analyzed based on data from the Barometer of the Americas that allow examining the degree of democratic legitimacy in these countries during the governments of Hugo Chavez, Rafael Correa and Evo Morales, who are considered "politicians with populist features". It is concluded that, although the arrival of populist politicians in Latin America during the first decade of the mi...

Electoral participation in Chile as in the world constitutes a broad field of study, however, research that associates poverty with participation in elections has focused only on the one-dimensional measurement of it, without considering its multidimensional conception. Searching to complete that gap is analyzed the communal poverty rates and the presidential elections in Chile carried out by voluntary vote, in order to answer, does multidimensional poverty affect electoral participation? To achieve this, the method of ecological inference is used with which to reach individual conclusions from aggregated information. It is argued that among people in poverty the tendency to abstain is greater than among those who are not in this condition, thus generating unequal electoral participation. The main conclusions are that the participation rates among the poor do not exceed 38.75%, while amo...

To make a wish. Educational and occupational aspirations in two generations of rural children, in Ayacucho (Peru) This paper presents a genealogy of educational and occupational aspirations, based on the desires of two generations of rural children of Ayacucho. Taking the region’s recent turbulent and violent history into account, and other recent structural social changes, the research shows how the aspirations change between both generations, paying special attention to gender differences. Terciary education becomes the most wanted future, while peasant activities almost disappear from desired future lives; in addition, in poorer households girls keep higher aspirations than their male peers. Despite all this, hard evidence shows that tertiary education is rarely reached in Ayacucho, and women still have less opportunity to access and finish secondary and tertiary education. Therefor...

The aim of this paper is to recognize and analyze the materiality, agendas and routes of the audiovisuals resulting from practice as research: the whole process of production of an audiovisual as a methodology for academic research. Likewise, the present work opens the dialog for an exchange (Mauss, 2002) with our collaborators as an intervention device (cita aqui). The empirical reference is based on my ethnographic approach to ethno-tourism projects managed by a group of indigenous entrepreneurs in the Central Peruvian Jungle, who while promoting ethno-tourism in the region, explore and question their own indigeneity. The central methodology of this research is to simultaneously produce an ethnographic audiovisual and a promotional video as an exachange. We found that the camera, as well as the audiovisuals, are things that become an extension of the body and experiences of the anthrop...

This essay explores an ontology of being with existential possibilities within the framework of developing a proposal for an ontological pedagogy. At the core of this ontology lies the notion of autonomy. To fully understand it, a dialogue is established between enaction and neurophenomenology (Varela), philosophy of mind (Dennett), and Heidegger’s philosophy, complemented by elements of art and popular culture. This innovative approach shifts the focus of educational sciences toward meaning and purpose, rather than merely instrumental components in any sense of the word. Ultimately, it is students who benefit, while teachers themselves undergo a process of transformation.

The objective is to provide a theoretical-methodological model that analyzes the issues and interventions of the public, social, and private sectors in the design of public policies to promote sustainable tourism and environmental conservation in the Santuario del Agua Valle de Bravo State Park, located in the State of Mexico. Methodologically, the model was developed using both theoretical and empirical elements; the former refers to sustainable tourism as the main category, with sustainability, environmental conservation, and public policies as subcategories. The empirical elements included observation and interviews with key stakeholders involved in tourism and environmental conservation within the park. The model linked these subcategories to structural and positional dimensions, which facilitated engagement with the actors. The comprehensive analysis drew on the assumptions of the P...

The burnout syndrome is an occupational health indicator that intervenes in the teaching-learning process and may harm the quality of education offered by institutions. The relationship between individual characteristics and the work environment may have different effects over the teaching performance. The current investigation seeks to analyze the fit of a model to predict teaching performance based on the teacher burnout, while including individual characteristics and the work environment perception in university teachers. The sample is composed of 94 teachers who provided information related to the Conscientiousness trait, their burnout and engagement levels, their teaching performance, and their perception of the work environment. This quantitative and cross-sectional research makes use of structural equation models to test its hypothesis. The second tested model showed the best fit,...
