The article exposes the results of a critical analysis of the implementation process of the program Escuela Nueva in Colombia. It proposes a review at the policy borrowing process from an international perspective, as well as a description of the dynamics of implementation within the Colombian context. For such aim, an exhaustive analysis was performed by implementing a qualitative documentary review, using a typological sample selection of sources. The conclusions suggest the need to consider attendance and transition indicators as key elements for decision making regarding the continuity, diversification and improvement of the program, as well as the urgency of unifying the national goals in pursuit of a coordinated implementation of rural programs.

Daily learning activities generate exchanges of ideas, doubts, and explanations between students and teachers. These dialogues and the possibility of asking a teacher questions disappear after classes. New automated communication tools developed with word processing programs, such as chatbots, have proven helpful in commerce and customer service. Some educational institutions are currently exploring the benefits of these programs in student care. This paper describes an exploratory study on the use of educational software and conversational agents in the teaching of programming; the objective is to identify the potential of this type of program to support teachers in the training of programmers and the accompaniment of students in their self-managed learning.

The present study aimed to: verify the effectiveness that has the Active Teaching Program in Learning Strategies students of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the National University Hermilio Valdizán, Huanuco - 2012. For which we worked with a sample of 78 students enrolled in the second year of studies, these students are divided into two groups: Basic Education and Secondary Education 42 36, the first was the control group and the experimental group second. This article presents an experience carried out by the faculty of the third year of the Infant Education degree at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). A proposal for multidisciplinary intervention that joins two modules: one for arts (musical, corporal, visual, and plastic education) and another for sciences (mathematics, and experimental and social sciences). The intervention stems from a generating idea—the book “Alice in Wonderland”—which allows for connections between the contents of the modules, involves co-teaching, multidisciplinary work, and shared evaluation experiences. The teaching of human parasitology is essential for students of health sciences, especially medicine, because it is a major global public health problem―occurring with high frequency in low-income countries―and because of its presence in countries considered developed. The purpose of this research was to determine how the Cuadernia educational software contributes to the teaching - learning process and the academic performance of Mathematics in fifth year students of the educational institution Nr. 5143 Talent School of the Constitutional Province of Callao. The research was of quantitative approach, of applied type and quasi-experimental design. This article has been elaborated with the purpose of revising the teaching formation in service of the public school teachers, especially in Peru, helping to understand the teaching formation itself as a complex phenomenon, with multiple sides. The process of creation of the educational policies must be in accordance with plans that come after them. The politics and the programs of training argue, among their objectives, the possibility of transforming the practice in something better, the article analyzes the process to achieve the transformation. Additionally, a brief presentation of the program of teaching formation, implemented by the Ministry of Education in 2002, is shown.

The main objective of this study was the design and implementation of instruments to evaluate teacher’s performance in a higher education distance unit of a public mexican university. The process consisted of an eight-stage program, based on information generated by interviews, group discussions and document revisions. As a result, three instruments were designed and implemented to collect information from different perspectives: from the student, the supervisor and the evaluated person himself.
