El articulo se propone examinar la noción del concepto clásico griego de la "vida buena” (eu zen, eudaimonia) como el objetivo práctico fundamental de la existencia humana y ofrecer una mirada novedosa a la oposición actual entre teorías teleológicas y no teleológicas sobre este tema, llevando a una re-evaluación de las contribuciones que aporta la filosofía antigua a este asunto. La forma del artículo es original: los autores han creado un diálogo entre dos personajes ficticios, cada uno de los cuales representa un enfoque filosófico distinto. Al hacerlo, quisieron rendir tributo a la obra de Sócrates y Platón, en el campo ético, y al mismo tiempo subrayar la relevancia actual de muchos elementos de esta obra en los estudios contemporáneos de filosofía moral.

El propósito de esta investigación es ofrecer una lectura de las convergencias (y divergencias) de estos dos filósofos entre sí y con respecto a los demás estoicos y otras influencias (entiéndase Sócrates, Platón y Aristóteles), y entre éstos a cínicos y epicúreos. ¿Por qué no dedico un estudio exclusivamente a uno de ellos? La distinción entre la filosofía moral del estoicismo tardío y la estoa antigua y media será para algunos una tarea en sí misma inútil y frívola. Pero esta distinción es importante. En cambio, aunque bien pueda hacerse, no es conveniente separar a dos filósofos que por “naturaleza” están unidos. Por el contrario, es más provechoso valerse de esta relación casi inmediata que hay entre Epicteto y Marco Aurelio.

El presente aporte se circunscribe a uno de los más serios problemas de la criminalística peruana, el abandono de la poroscopia, disciplina abocada al estudio de los poros presentes en la piel. Para ello, se efectuó el estudio de la literatura nacional e internacional que versa sobre la dimensión teórica de esta rama del saber y la evidencia empírica referida a su aplicación. Se concluyó que, el uso de la poroscopia optimizaría la identificación personal, al reducir varios de los equívocos provocados por el empleo aislado de los dos primeros niveles de análisis dactilar, e incrementaría la fiabilidad de las homologaciones, motivos por los que la misma debe ser implementada a nivel nacional.

Twenty seven homing pigeons (10 males and 17 females) were biometrically studied and the bilateral symmetry (right-left) level was evaluated. Analysed traits were the length of outer external rectrices, length of the wing and length of the second primary feather. The aim of the study was to check whether there is a relationship between the degree of asymmetry level and general health of the birds (expressed as a measure of body condition). Measurements showed a normal distribution and without differences according to the body condition, indicating a high degree of stable growth.

The purpose of this research was to determine the degree of relationship between Knowledge Management and Job Satisfaction in teachers of the educational institutions of the Initial level of the city of Puno. The research corresponds to the basic type, is descriptive and with a correlational design, the study sample constituted 64 teachers from the educational institutions of the Initial Education level, the information was collected with the survey technique and as an instrument the questionnaire. Objective. Understand the perspective of patients in relation to the current way of obtaining an appointment in primary health care. Methods. A bibliography search was performed in the online databases in Spanish and English. The main source was sought by reviewing the bibliographical references of the publications. Results. It was found that the shift to virtuality has made it easier for users to access a primary health care appointment, reducing waiting time and paving the way for non-face-to-face care; the level of user satisfaction has increased positively. Conclusions. Phone and virtual requests are here to stay; these are not intended to replace face-to-face requests, but they are a necessary tool to improve the quality of care for users.

This paper is based on the premise that parole assumes the configuration of rights and the objective was to reach an approximation to the implications of such a postulate in the Peruvian legal system. For that purpose, an analysis of the national and international literature that deals with the dogmatic and applicational dimensions of these figures was carried out. It was concluded that it is not possible to restrict the legal application of early release, regardless of the seriousness of the crime or sentence imposed, and that the concession factors to be legislated must be based on empirical evidence related to recidivism.

The present research aimed to examine whether perfectionism and some demographic variables can predict levels of resilience (and their dimensions) in adults from Venezuela. The design was cross-sectional predictive, through logistic regression analysis. Participants were 313 Venezuelan mature adults (M = 46.44 years), mostly women (82.7%), residents of the interior of the country (70.9%), with higher education (64.2%), and paid employment (67.9%). An adapted version of the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (Frost et al., 1990) and the Resilience Scale for Adults (Hernández y Lezama, 2016) was applied via Google Forms. Organization was a positive predictor of resilience and two of its dimensions (OR = 1.13 - 1.27), while fear of mistakes was a negative predictor of resilience and “morality and values” (OR = 0.96). Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Latin America, and the economic cost it requires will increase markedly in future years (1). If nothing is done about it, cancer incidence and mortality in South and Central America will continue to rise sharply between 2012 and 2035 (2). It is expected that by 2030 the incidence of cancer will increase by 32%, reaching 5 million cases per year (1). Objective. To determine the effectiveness of nutritional intervention in beneficiaries of soup kitchens in Lima, 2022. Methods. The study was of an applicative type, specifcally pre-experimental design (without control group) and longitudinal cut. The population consisted of all the benefciaries of the soup kitchens of San Luis. The sample consisted of 110 benefciaries of soup kitchens. Results. The nutritional diagnosis changed positively. Regarding the anthropometric evaluation, the median BMI decreased from 27.95 to 26.04; the MAMC decreased from 30.05 to 28.20 and the PAB decreased from 90.00 to 88.00. Lima ofrece hoy la imagen de varias «ciudades» a su interior. Entre ellas tiene lugar una fragmentación sociocultural, expresada en distintas formas de sociabilidad y nuevos sentidos de pertenencia. Estas «ciudades» se comunican entre sí y se conectan con el mundo globalizado a través de los medios de comunicación masiva, y por medios virtuales. La metrópoli constituye así un «espacio comunicacional». Tomamos en cuenta los referentes materiales, simbólicos y comunicacionales que han transformado las formas de sociabilidad y la construcción de identidades en el escenario urbano de Lima.
