The research analyzes how social organizations influence the construction of citizenship networks in urban spaces with state deficiency. Based on the analysis of the networks of citizenship in the case study —the social organization “La Lombriz Feliz” in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho (Lima)— it is intended to show that the organization contributes to the formation of citizenship by developing activities that supplement the deficiencies of the local State.

Peru's reality should be analyzed carefully inorder to understand the situation in which most Peruvians actually are. It is of particular relevance to understand the role that the State and the tax system developed in it have in the country’s economy. A well known Peruvian economist analyzes Peru’s economic situation through the comparison benchmark countries that are somehow very influent on us. It is through a deep approach that the interviewee schemes the main issues of our country and enables to make proposals based on its reality, as well as to make some projections about the country’s future.

El Programa Nacional de Alimentación Escolar Qali Warma fue creado como una mejor alternativa al anterior programa, cerrado en medio del escándalo y la deslegitimación. Sin embargo, desde su implementación, Qali Warma ha sido fuente de escándalos mediáticos constantes, así como de propuestas de mejora y cambio. Esta investigación se acerca a su implementación desde los espacios de monitoreo de las escuelas, para comprender las lógicas políticas y tecnocráticas dentro del programa y analizar las tensiones producidas por ellas durante las actividades de monitoreo. También analizamos las posibilidades de acción de los monitores a través de la comparación de su trabajo en dos regiones muy diferentes de Perú: Lambayeque y Junín. Finalmente, proponemos un nuevo enfoque para pensar la implementación de programas sociales y el monitoreo en estos.

La investigación de tipo descriptivo simple tuvo como objetivo general medir el nivel de percepción del clima organizacional que tienen los docentes de una institución educativa pública de la región Callao. La muestra, de tipo disponible estuvo conformada por 52 docentes del nivel primaria y secundaria. La información se obtuvo con la aplicación del cuestionario Clima Organizacional Para Docentes, de los autores George Litwin y Robert Stringer; que evalúa dimensiones del clima organizacional. El cuestionario fue validado a través de juicio de expertos y la confiabilidad se realizó mediante muestra piloto de 25 docentes. Los resultados mostraron que el clima organizacional se encuentra en un nivel medio.

This article argues that the War on Drugs (WOD) is globally unjust because states violate their negative duty to not harm people by imposing a coercive institutional order in which the object of human rights is not secure to all members of society. Using Plan Colombia as a case study and Thomas Pogge’s global justice theory, the article examines how militarized drug strategies, promoted by the United States and adopted by Colombia, have led to human rights violations without achieving the desired goal of ending drug trafficking. The analysis shows that the WOD criminalizes vulnerable communities affected by poverty, state neglect, and armed conflict. La investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar el estilo de liderazgo predominante en docentes del nivel secundario de las Instituciones Educativas Públicas de Bellavista en la región Callao, la investigación es descriptiva, de corte transversal y naturaleza cuantitativa. Se utilizó el cuestionario Celid-A el cual refleja los tres estilos de liderazgo: transformacional, transaccional y Laissez faire. La prueba permitió obtener puntuaciones en cada estilo y sus respectivas subdimensiones en una muestra de 138 docentes. The present investigation has the intention of demonstrating the existing relation between the emotional intelligence and the academic achievement in the pupils of the fifth degree of secondary education of an educational institution of the district of the Callao. Correlacional used the descriptive design. The study was realized in a sample of 82 students of both kinds; with a sampling not probability. The was applied the inventory of BarOnʼs Emotional Quotient. The results indicate that a significant relation exists between emotional intelligence and academic achievement; likewise the levels of Emotional Intelligence indicate that 69.5% presents an emotional good capacity and 24.4% for improving. In addition, in relation to academic achievement one found that 37.8% presents a low level.

Esta investigación descriptiva simple señala estilos y dimensiones de liderazgo docente en una escuela secundaria pública en La Perla, Callao; hallando sus niveles de dominio, estableciéndolos por género y estimando el perfil de liderazgo prevalente. El cuestionario para identificar estilos de liderazgo (CIELID), validado por jueces; es una adaptación del MLQ 5X de Vega y Zavala (2004), y del CELID de Castro et al. (2007); para la forma Seguidor su validación fue 0,93; y la fiabilidad 0,85; para la forma Líder, la fiabilidad fue 0,83. Se estudia la relación entre memoria auditiva inmediata y procesos lectores en estudiantes de quinto grado de primaria de una institución educativa de Playa Rímac - Callao. The present investigation is a study of descriptive comparative type and of design non experimental transeccional. The purpose is to compare the active, reflexive, theoretical and pragmatic learning styles according to sex in males and women students of the sixth cycle - the first and the second high school-, of an educational institution of Ventanilla district. The used instrument was the questionnaire Honey-Alonso of learning styles (CHAEA), it was applied to a sample of 220 students, with ages between 12 to 16 years. The results of the present study showed that yes exist significant differences in the active style in favour of the women. As for the reflexive style, exist differences in favour of the women, but they are not significant. On the theoretical and pragmatic styles concluded that do not exist significant differences according to the sex.

The purpose of this research was to relate the Academic goals and Motivational components’ variables in the area of English. One hundred forty-nine fourth-grade public high-school students from Callao participated in the sample. Their ages varied from fourteen to nineteen years old. The questionnaire about Academic goals from Núñez, Gonzáles-Pienda, Gonzáles-Pumariega, García and Roces (1977), adapted by Solís (2010), and the Motivational components in the area of English by Alarcón (2005), adapted by Solís (2010), were used during this evaluation. The result of the research revealed a low and negative correlation between both variables. Moreover, the psychometric data from the adaption of both questionaires displayed valid and reliable tests.

La adolescencia es un periodo desafiante en el que los adolescentes atraviesan cambios importantes, lo que puede llevar a sentimientos de ansiedad, depresión e incluso tener ideas suicidas. Objetivo: Determinar la percepción de ideación suicida en escolares de una institución educativa estatal de Arequipa. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio cualitativo, observacional, prospectivo y transversal, con entrevistas no estructuradas, en un colegio estatal de la ciudad de Arequipa en marzo del 2024. Los datos se obtuvieron a través de una muestra por conveniencia donde se entrevistaron a 50 alumnos de 3ro, 4to y 5to de secundaria. Los datos que fueron recopilados se sometieron a un análisis mediante estadística descriptiva y tablas de frecuencia. The aim of this study was to describe the values that are practiced in basic education teachers from two public educational institutions DREC-Callao. The study involved 74 teachers: 12 of primary level and 62 of secondary level of both genders, for morning and afternoon shifts, the age of participating teachers were between 23 and 50 years. To measure the practice of teaching values of the questionnaire was used practice of the values proposed by Cordova (2007) carried out on the same tests of validity and reliability for research purposes. Given the research design, the results allowed us to describe that teachers practice the values of honesty, respect, responsibility, solidarity and punctuality in a range from fair to excellent.

This research is related to the descriptive correlational study. It has as objective to establish the relation that exists between reading comprehension and academic achievement. The evaluation was taken to 5th grade students that are about to finish high school. For it there was selected a sample formed by 94 students, of both sexes from a public school located in Callao. For testing the reading comprehension, it was used the Tapia’s reading comprehension test -1982, which is a tool with a collective use.
