The research was carried out at the Molecular Immunology Center (CIM), a Cuban biotechnological institution dedicated to basic research, development, and manufacture of products for the treatment of cancer and other autoimmune diseases. In recent decades, Peru has experienced a 2.8% GDP growth, thanks to the gastronomic sector. Engaging in the food business has thus become a robust source of income for the country. Despite this, certain companies face internal issues related to the stocks managed by restaurants, as their staff lacks the necessary knowledge to handle inventory. This results in a 9.7% loss of sales within the sector, while the analyzed company incurs a 17% loss. This is a methodological investigation of the validity and reliability of the Inventory of Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI). The simple descriptive design was applied to 566 university students of psychology in metropolitan Lima, using a multi-phased stratified sample. The comparative analysis indicated that students of private universities showed better performance than students from public universities in the scales of Attitude, Motivation and Self-Testing. Differences by sex in the scales of Attitude, Time Management, Anxiety and Study Aids were observed.

The present study explores the psychometric properties of the Parent Perception Inventory (Hazzard et al., 1983), instrument elaborated to describe, with a global approach, the parenting practices just as they are experienced and perceived by the own children. In a sample of 276 students from the 2do to the 6to degree of primary of a private school, the cluster analysis applied confirmed the internal structure of the inventory. On the other hand, the gender of the students as much as the school degree explained little variance in the differences in scores. These differences were, in general, not significant. On the other hand, regarding the psychometric propierties, (1) the analysis supported the validity of the assumed bi-dimensional structure; and (2) the reliability is acceptable.

The present article describes the process of construction of a Family Integration Inventory which contents 52 items distributed in a Likert scale, and has optimum criteria of validity and reliability (α = .739). We obtain a KMO value of .922 which admits the factorization of the instrument As result of the factorial analysis applied in two moments we finally have a unidimensional inventory. Moreover, we settle the percentiles in three levels of family integration: high, medium and low.

The purpose of this research was to construct and validate an instrument to meet adequate psychometric properties to measure the emotional dependency. The total sample consisted of 757 participants from Lima-Peru (398 women and 359 men) aged between 18 and 55. Of total initial items were eliminated over 75% of them through systematic procedures, leaving the final test consisted of 49 items. The results show that Emotional Dependency Inventory - IDE has confiabiliadad indicators and evidence of adequate construct validity.

The purpose of this study is to report evidence of construct validity and reliability of a new self-report instrument that measures mindfulness and equanimity in a Spanish speaking population. An initial pool of 26 items was evaluated by 17 experts from Spain and Latin America and modified on the basis of their comments. The resulting list of 21 items was administered to 746 university students in Mexico and Peru. Their responses were analyzed using Unweighted Least Squares (ULS) with promin rotations. Two factors were identified, mindless and mindful, with factor loadings ranging from .36 to .65. The reliability coefficients for the first and second factors were .78, and .82 respectively. The inter-factors correlation was -.51. The results indicate clear evidence of convergent and discriminative validity.

Muchas empresas mayoristas no usan un control adecuado de su nivel de inventario, y variables como la demanda de productos varían continuamente por la estacionalidad y las tendencias del mercado, generando costes que reducen la rentabilidad de la empresa y producen insatisfacción de los clientes con el servicio ofrecido. En este trabajo proponemos la aplicación de un método para reducir el nivel de incertidumbre y riesgo en las ventas y simular la aplicación de una política de revisión continua de inventarios.
