Dado el creciente interés actual por la cirugía estética, lo cual es considerado una forma moderna, esto ocasiona que dejen atrás aspectos importantes para que se cumplan con los servicios y ello ocurre por el deseo incontrolable de querer mejorar su apariencia o aspecto físico. La cuestión en torno a la responsabilidad civil está relacionada a la indemnización por el daño estético resultantes de diversos procedimientos relacionados al daño físico y moral. Respecto al resarcimiento por el daño ocasionado del profesional médico que surge en una cirugía estética, es indispensable conocer qué es lo que buscan los clientes al momento de contratar a un médico especialista, ya que existen diversos riesgos como el de perder la vida. Además, es el deber del médico reparar los daños causados por una actuación negligente o imprudente. Por lo que es importante distinguir entre los medios y resultados, es decir, si debe actuar con diligencia y conforme a la Lex Artis, o si debe garantizar el resultado deseado por el paciente.

Given the current growing interest in cosmetic surgery, which is considered a modern way, this causes them to leave important aspects behind so that the services are met and this happens because of the uncontrollable desire to want to improve their appearance or physical appearance. The issue of civil liability is related to compensation for aesthetic damage resulting from various procedures related to physical and moral damage. Regarding the compensation for the damage caused to the medical professional that arises in cosmetic surgery, it is essential to know what clients are looking for when hiring a specialist doctor, since there are various risks such as losing their lives. In addition, it is the doctor's duty to repair the damage caused by negligent or reckless action.
