description El presente estudio analiza el efecto del nivel educativo en las variaciones salariales a través de la elección y movilidad ocupacional en mercado laboral peruano. Los modelos econométricos implementados permiten determinar, de forma agregada, que un incremento en los años de educación genera un mayor ingreso salarial. Partiendo de ello, al realizar un análisis específico de los trabajadores que pertenecen a ocupaciones que requieren altos niveles de educación, se ha identificado que este factor incrementa la probabilidad de movilizarse a una mejor ocupación. En el caso de las demás ocupaciones, se recomienda movilizarse a una ocupación que sí priorice el nivel educativo, ya que presentan un mayor ingreso salarial.

The econometric models implemented allow to determine, in an aggregate way, that an increase in the years of education generates a higher wage income. Based on this, when carrying out a specific analysis of workers who belong to occupations that require high levels of education, it has been identified that this factor increases the probability of moving to a better occupation.
