Dentro de estos, tenemos la categoría teen serie, la cual constituye uno de los contenidos más relevantes entorno a la cultura juvenil. Sin embargo, en los últimos años, se han realizado una serie de cambios en la representación de la mujer adolescente. El objetivo principal es analizar estas representaciones a partir de dos teen series latinoamericanas y, específicamente, desde la percepción de la audiencia femenina peruana. Para ello, se han tomado las series Rebelde Way (2002) y Élite (2018). Dentro de ellas veremos cómo es representada la mujer adolescente en el aspecto físico, psicológico, social percibido por la audiencia femenina peruana y, a partir de ello, identificar los cambios y permanencias entre ambas. Esta investigación es de carácter cualitativo, por lo que se utilizará un instrumento de recolección de datos: entrevistas personales. Con esta investigación se desea demostrar los estereotipos de género que estas series pueden presentar y los cuales son percibidos, de manera consciente o no por parte de la audiencia femenina peruana.

Within these, there is a category called teen series, which constitutes one of the most relevant contents around youth culture. Nevertheless, in recent years, there has been a number of changes in the representation of teenagers, especially, in the female ones. The main objective of this research is to analyze these representations from two Latin American teen series and, specifically, from the perception of the Peruvian female audience. In order to reach it, teen series such as Rebelde Way (2002) and Elite (2018) have been taken as cases of study for this research. Within these, we will see how the female teenager is represented in the physical, social and psychological aspects perceived by the Peruvian female audience and, after that, identify the changes and permanences in both series. This research is qualitative in nature, so we will use persona interviews as a data collection instrument.
