description El centro de acogida para víctimas de maltrato doméstico es un equipamiento que brinda, principalmente el servicio de protección y albergue temporal para las mujeres y niños que han sufrido violencia doméstica. Este proyecto tiene por énfasis generar una vida en comunidad al interior del centro, la cual se desarrolle en un ambiente protegido y acogedor envuelto entre la arquitectura y la naturaleza. Mediante la creación de espacios que acompañen en el proceso de recuperación de los usuarios. Se propone una arquitectura que abrace y sea el intermediario entre el usuario y la naturaleza generando situaciones que propicien esta conexión con la naturaleza. El proyecto tiene como concepto la linealidad de sus formas, la secuencia ordenada de sus volúmenes y la creación de espacios encapsulados que hagan referencia al vientre materno. Se busca reforzar la cualidad acogedora de estos espacios con la elección del ladrillo como material y textura predominante en las superficies.
