El objetivo del estudio fue: determinar la relación entre Plano Terminal y Tipo de Lactancia en Estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Inicial (I.E.I.) N° 1733 “Mi Mundo Maravilloso”. En cuanto a la metodología utilizada es no experimental, descriptivo, correlacional, transversal, prolectivo y observacional; tuvo como población 205 estudiantes y como muestra de estudio 67 estudiantes de 2 a 4 años de la indicada Institución. Se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos a través de un examen bucal a cada estudiante que sirvió para determinar el Plano Terminal Molar y una ficha de Formulario que se aplicó a las madres de familia y que estuvo constituida por una sola pregunta con la que se determinó el Tipo de Lactancia que administraron a su menor hijo(a). En cuanto a los Resultados se utilizó la prueba de Chi Cuadrado, donde se observa que X2 = 69,648 mayor que la tabla tabular (9,488) con 4 grados de libertad y además un p-valor menor al nivel de significancia (0,000<0,05), con la cual se asevera que el Plano Terminal tiene relación con el Tipo de Lactancia. También observamos que el 34,3% (23) de estudiantes que recibieron Lactancia Materna Exclusiva tuvieron un Plano Terminal Recto el 28,5% (19); mientras que del 14,9% (10) que tomaron Lactancia Artificial (10) el 13,4%(9) se ubicaron en Escalón Distal; para el 50,7%(34) que adoptaron por la Lactancia No Exclusiva, el 34,3% obtuvieron el Escalón Mesial. Además, tenemos que del 44,8% (30) del género masculino el 20,9%(14) recibieron Lactancia No Exclusiva; en cambio del 55,5%(37) del género femenino el 29,9%(20) también recibieron Lactancia No Exclusiva. Finalmente tenemos que el 44,78%(30) de los estudiantes de la I.E.I. “Mi Mundo Maravilloso” tuvieron un Plano Terminal Recto, el 40,3%(27) se ubicaron en el Escalón Mesial y el 14,93%(10) en el Escalón Distal. Conclusión: Existe relación significativa entre el Plano Terminal y el Tipo de Lactancia |

A data collection card was used through an oral examination of each student that served to determine the Terminal Plane and a Form card that was applied to the mothers of the family and that consisted of a single question with which determined the type of breastfeeding given to your youngest child.
