Introducción: Se presenta el caso de un recién nacido con Aplasia cutis congénita asociada a Epidermólisis Bullosa con manejo conservador, quien durante su hospitalización presenta complicaciones infecciosas y hemorrágicas. Hasta el momento no se han encontrado reportes de caso similares que muestren evolución desfavorable. Presentación del caso: Recién nacido de 5 horas de vida, referido de un centro de salud cercano quien presenta, desde el nacimiento, lesiones extensas con ausencia de piel en ambos miembros inferiores y posterior aparición de ampollas en mucosa oral y piel, específicamente en zonas de fricción y contacto. Se diagnostica Aplasia cutis congénita asociada a Epidermólisis bullosa. Durante su manejo conservador presenta complicaciones infecciosas y hemorrágicas que se resuelven con antibioticoterapia de amplio espectro y curaciones diarias; sin embargo, lesiones no mejoran por lo que se replantea tratamiento tópico con evolución satisfactoria. Conclusión: El manejo conservador es de elección en la Aplasia cutis congénita; siendo importante detectar y tratar a tiempo las complicaciones infecciosas y hemorrágicas que puedan presentarse para asegurar la epitelización de las lesiones. |

To date, no case reports have been found that show unfavorable evolution. Case Presentation: Newborn of 5 hours of life, referred from a nearby health center, who presented with extensive lesions present at birth with loss and absence of skin in both lower limbs, which later was associated with blisters on the oral mucosa and skin, specifically in areas of friction and contact; therefore, the diagnosis of aplasia cutis congenita associated with epidermolysis bullosa was given. During its conservative management, it presented infectious and hemorrhagic complications that are resolved with broad-spectrum antibiotic therapy and daily cures; however, lesions did not improve, so topical treatment with satisfactory evolution is rethought.
