description El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo el determinar la relación que existe entre la Inteligencia Emocional y la Práctica Docente en maestras del nivel inicial del distrito de Trujillo - 2023. El diseño fue no experimental, de corte transversal, enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo y de alcance correlacional. Por otra parte, el marco muestral se integró por 100 docentes del nivel inicial los cuales requerían cumplir con los criterios de inclusión para el estudio. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron el BarOn de inteligencia emocional con adaptación docente y el instrumento de Yabar de Práctica docente. Los resultados descriptivos señalaron que el nivel de inteligencia emocional predomina en muy bien desarrollado con 19,0%, la práctica docente buena con 41%. Por otro lado, en cuanto a los resultados inferenciales existe relación altamente significativa p=.000 positiva de intensidad moderada .566. En cuanto a las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional se relacionaron de forma significativa p=.000 con la variable práctica docente de forma directa e intensidad moderada. Se llegó a la conclusión que, a mejor inteligencia emocional, se desarrollará una buena práctica docente, a medida que la inteligencia emocional de un docente mejora, también lo hace su habilidad para llevar a cabo una enseñanza más efectiva y positiva

The design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, quantitative, descriptive, and correlational scope. On the other hand, the sample frame was made up of 100 teachers at the initial level who needed to meet the inclusion criteria for the study. The instruments applied were the BarOn of emotional intelligence with teacher adaptation and the Yabar instrument of Teaching Practice. The descriptive results indicated that the level of emotional intelligence predominates in very well developed with 19.0%, and good teaching practice with 41%. On the other hand, in terms of inferential results, there is a highly significant positive relationship p=.000 of moderate intensity .566. Regarding the dimensions of emotional intelligence, p=.000 was significantly related to the variable of teaching practice in a direct way and moderate intensity.
