El objetivo principal de la investigación del proyecto es proponer un Diseño arquitectónico Centro de día y residencia para el adulto mayor en el distrito de Trujillo. Por ello, es necesario diseñar una infraestructura que pueda atender las necesidades de las personas mayores. El proyecto es una respuesta a la alta demanda y la falta de hogares de ancianos que cuenten con la atención y los requisitos adecuados para satisfacer las necesidades diarias. En la actualidad existe un albergue en la provincia de Trujillo, que no llega atender a toda la demanda. En la propuesta de Centro de día y residencia para el adulto mayor, se ha tenido en cuenta al momento de diseñar ciertos criterios y parámetros de diseño para el perfecto funcionamiento del proyecto y así brindar un buen servicio al público objetivo. Tiene una tipología que se centra en las necesidades del adulto mayor, donde puedan realizar diferentes actividades entre ellas activas y pasivas, buscando la conexión entre el usuario y el proyecto |

Therefore, it is necessary to design an infrastructure that can meet the needs of older people. The project is a response to the high demand and lack of nursing homes that have adequate care and requirements to meet daily needs.
