Esta situación se explica por cuatro limitaciones principales: déficit de centros inclusivos, falta de equipamiento multisensorial, carencia de confort acústico, lumínico y climático, y escasa articulación social e institucional. Estos factores afectan la calidad de vida de los usuarios, generando retrasos académicos, exclusión social y desigualdad en el acceso a servicios. La investigación propone el diseño de un Centro de Integración Sensorial en Trujillo, fundamentado en tres teorías base: la arquitectura para el autismo, que orienta la organización formal y espacial; el diseño sensorial, que regula los estímulos y favorece la autorregulación emocional; y el confort tecnológico-ambiental, que garantiza condiciones de habitabilidad. La metodología fue de enfoque mixto, tipo aplicado y método deductivo, integrando revisión documental, análisis de casos, entrevistas a expertos y trabajo de campo. Como resultado, se plantea un proyecto arquitectónico organizado en macrozonas educativas y terapéuticas, con capacidad para atender entre el 30 % y 35 % de la población proyectada. Este modelo se alinea con la Ley N.º 32382 (2025), consolidándose como referente de inclusión, sostenibilidad y atención integral.

This situation arises from four main limitations: a deficit of inclusive centers, the absence of multisensory equipment, inadequate acoustic, lighting, and climatic comfort, and limited social and institutional coordination. These factors negatively affect users’ quality of life, causing academic delays, social exclusion, and unequal access to services. The research proposes the design of a Sensory Integration Center in Trujillo, based on three theoretical frameworks: architecture for autism, which guides spatial organization and form; sensory design, which regulates stimuli and promotes emotional self-regulation; and technological–environmental comfort, which ensures proper habitability conditions. The methodology followed a mixed approach, applied type, and deductive method, integrating documentary review, case analysis, expert interviews, and fieldwork. As a result, an architectural project organized into educational and therapeutic macro-zones is proposed, with the capacity to serve between 30% and 35% of the projected population.
