Objetivo alcanzado del nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes en instituciones educativas públicas en La libertad durante Covid-19 en 2021. Se utilizó un cuestionario virtual de 20 preguntas. Los niveles de conocimiento se clasifican en buenos, regulares y malos. Usando la prueba estadística Chi-cuadrado. Resultados: Se observó que los estudiantes de ambas instituciones educativas tenían el mismo nivel de conocimiento de salud bucal que el nivel de conocimiento general para los estándares de género y grado escolar. En el colegio I.E JUAN ALVARADO se ha observado que el predominio femenino en el nivel de conocimientos generales es del 58,52% y todos los estudiantes tienen nivel de conocimientos generales según el grado escolar. En tercer lugar, con un coeficiente de 67,27%. I.E REPUBLICA DE PANAMA también observó que el nivel de conocimiento general lo dominan las mujeres con un 58.57% y según las clases escolares todos los estudiantes tienen un nivel de conocimiento general. Conclusiones: Según sexo y nivel escolar, los estudiantes de secundaria de las instituciones educativas de La Libertad tuvieron un nivel similar de conocimientos sobre salud bucal durante el Covid-19.

Material and method: This prospective, cross-sectional and descriptive study was carried out with 524 students from two schools. Objective reached of the level of knowledge of students in public educational institutions in La Libertad during Covid 19 in 2021. A virtual questionnaire of 20 questions was used. Knowledge levels are classified as good, fair and bad. Using the Chi-square statistical test. Results: It was observed that the students of both educational institutions had the same level of knowledge of oral health as the level of general knowledge for gender and school grade standards. In the I.E JUAN ALVARADO school, it has been observed that the female predominance in the level of general knowledge is 58.52% and all students have a level of general knowledge according to the school grade.
