description El análisis mostrado ha considerado como su objetivo principal determinar la relación existente entre la variable autoestima y la variable habilidades sociales de infantes de cuatro años, de instituciones educativas de nivel inicial de Trujillo – 2022; para lo cual se ha utilizado un estudio de tipo básico, a su vez tiene un diseño denominado como no-experimental y su vez es correlacional, donde fueron participes 132 niños (población-muestra) de cuatro años, de instituciones educativas de Trujillo; se decidió usar como técnica: la observación, por ende su instrumento fue la guía de observación; resultando que, el nivel hallado de autoestima en los pequeños es medio en el 48%, el nivel de habilidades sociales es medio en el 42% de los niños, por otro lado existe una relación positiva y/o significativa entre la autoestima con las dimensiones de las habilidades sociales de los infantes; se puede concluir que, existe relación estadística significativa entre la variable autoestima con las habilidades sociales en los niños de cuatro años de las instituciones educativas privadas de inicial de Trujillo, en el año 2022, al obtener una correlación moderada y positiva con un coeficiente Rho de Spearman de 0.683 y un valor p=0,000
