Determinar el nivel de ansiedad en pacientes mujeres con tumoración mamaria en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo en Enero del 2015. Material y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio observacional, descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 92 pacientes mujeres con tumoración mamaria. Resultados: La frecuencia de tumoración mamaria en la consulta externa del servicio de Ginecooncología fue de 19.7% durante enero de 2015. La frecuencia de ansiedad leve se documentó en 7.6% de los 92 casos, la ansiedad moderada se identificó en el 69.6% y la ansiedad grave en 22.8%. Las pacientes con tumoración mamaria tuvieron una edad media de 37.076±10.203 años. De los 92 casos estudiados, el grupo de 31 a 40 años concentró al 40.2% de todos los casos de ansiedad y destacó por su frecuencia en ansiedad leve (4.3%), moderada (28.3%) y grave (7.6%). Conclusiones: Todos los casos presentaron ansiedad y la moderada fue la más frecuente, siendo el grupo de 31 a 40 años el que más casos concentró en todos los tipos. |

The sample was composed of 92 female patients with breast lump. Results: The frequency of breast lump in the outpatient service of Ginecooncologia was 19.7 per cent during January of 2015.
