Los hallazgos muestran que el 23% de las participantes presentó un nivel bajo de conocimientos, el 67% un nivel medio y el 10% un nivel alto. En la práctica del cuidado, el 70% de enfermeras aplicó prácticas adecuadas en la dimensión microambiente, el 63% en macroambiente y el 57% en cuidados centrados en la familia. El análisis estadístico evidenció una correlación positiva muy alta entre conocimientos y prácticas (r = 0,973; p < 0,05), confirmando la hipótesis de investigación.

The study used a basic, descriptive, correlational, and cross-sectional design, with a sample of 30 nurses. Data collection included a knowledge questionnaire and an observation guide. The findings show that 23% of the participants had a low level of knowledge, 67% a medium level, and 10% a high level.
