Se trabajó con una muestra total de 165 estudiantes de una institución Educativa de castilla, Piura, a los cuales se les aplicó la escala de evaluación de Cohesión y Adaptabilidad Familiar (FACES III) y Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild y Young (ER). Los resultados obtenidos entre las variables Funcionamiento familiar y resiliencia evidencian que existe un valor rho de Spearman de 0. 299 lo cual se puede llegar a interpretar estadísticamente que existe una correlación positiva baja. Así mismo se puede evidenciar que el nivel de significancia es 0.000 <0,05, finalmente se concluyó que existe relación entre funcionamiento familiar y resiliencia, así mismo se puede mencionar que esta relación es positiva baja, lo que se interpreta que a más adecuado sea el funcionamiento familiar, mejor será la capacidad de resiliencia en la persona

The methodology is basic, with a non-experimental and descriptive design. Correlative We worked with a total sample of 165 students from an educational institution in Castilla, Piura, to whom the Family Cohesion and Adaptability assessment scale (FACES III) and the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale (ER) were applied. The results obtained between the variables family functioning and resilience show that there is a Spearman's rho value of 0.299, which can be interpreted statistically that there is a low positive confirmation.
