Se halló un OR= 7.25 con un Intervalo de Confianza al 95% 2.42 a 21.64, con significancia estadística (p=0.000). CONCLUSIONES: 1. El Síndrome de ovario poliquístico es factor de riesgo de diabetes mellitus tipo II, La frecuencia del síndrome de ovario poliquístico en mujeres mayores de 30 años con diabetes Mellitus tipo II fue del 25%, La frecuencia del síndrome de ovario poliquístico en mujeres mayores de 30 años sin diabetes Mellitus tipo II fue del 3.4%

We found an OR = 7.25 with a confidence interval to the 95% 2.42 to 21.64 CONCLUSIONES: The frequency of Polycystic ovary syndrome in older than 30 years of age with type II diabetes mellitus was 25% and 3.4% in older than 30 years without diabetes mellitus II patients.
