Para poder explicar esta relación hemos utilizado como variable dependiente el crecimiento económico del Perú, tomando como base las series anuales del PBI por región en miles de soles corrientes y para la variable independiente la informalidad, tomando como base la población económicamente activa ocupada (PEAO) sin sistema de pensiones en miles de personas y el número de MYPES informales en miles de micros y pequeñas empresas. Luego de haber analizado el comportamiento de la informalidad por regiones, se concluye que las MYPES, a pesar de ser informales, han influido de manera positiva en el crecimiento económico.

In order to explain this relationship, we have used the economic growth of Perú as a dependent variable, based on the annual series of GDP by región in miles of current soles, and for the independent variable, informality, based on the employed economically active population (PEAO) without a system of pensions in thousands of people and the number of informal MYPES in miles of micro and small businesses.
