description El presente estudio tiene como título: “Nivel de conocimiento y prácticas del profesional de enfermería sobre Reanimación Cardiopulmonar en el Servicio de Emergencia. Hospital General Jaén, 2023”. Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas del profesional de Enfermería sobre Reanimación Cardiopulmonar en el servicio de Emergencia, Hospital General Jaén, 2023. El estudio es de nivel básico, tipo cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo y cortetransversal. La población muestral estuvo conformada por 30 enfermeras(os) que laboran en el servicio de emergencia de este nosocomio. Se empleó como técnica para recopilar datos, la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario. Resultados: el nivel de conocimiento sobre Reanimación Cardiopulmonar en el servicio de Emergencia del Hospital General Jaén, es medio en 50%, bajo 23,3% y alto en 26,6%, las prácticas resultaron en nivel regular en 61.5%, deficiente en 26.9% y bueno en 11.5%. Conclusión: existe una relación directa y de significancia entre el nivel de conocimiento y las prácticas del profesional de Enfermería sobre Reanimación Cardiopulmonar en el servicio de Emergencia, Hospital General Jaén, 2023, en base al estadístico chi cuadrado X2= 13.789, p-valor = 0.008 menor al riesgo 0.05

Jaén General Hospital, 2023”. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and the practices of the Nursing professional on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in the Emergency service, Hospital General Jaén, 2023. The study is basic level, quantitative type, descriptive design and cross-sectional. The sample population was made up of 30 nurses who work in the emergency service of this hospital. The survey was used as a technique to collect data and the instrument was the questionnaire. Results: the level of knowledge about Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation in the Emergency service of the Jaén General Hospital is medium in 50%, low in 23.3% and high in 26.6%, the practices resulted in a regular level in 61.5%, deficient in 26.9% and good at 11.5%.
