Mediante análisis estadístico bi variado, se calculó el Odds Ratio de cada factor y se elaboró un modelo de Regresión Logística para obtener el riesgo por OR controlando las variables estudiadas. RESULTADOS: Se estudiaron 300 adolescentes entre 11 y 15 años, la prevalencia de ginecomastia fue de un 12,3 % (37 adolescentes). Este estudio muestra una asociación significativa (p < 0.05) de los factores asociados a ginecomastia del adolescente como: la obesidad en un 5,3 % (16 adolescentes), el antecedente familiar de ginecomastia en un 1,67 % (5 adolescentes), el consumo excesivo de carne de pollo en un 8,3 % (25 adolescentes), el uso de lociones de lavanda en un 1,67 % (5 adolescentes) y el estadio puberal Tanner en un 12,3 % (37 adolescentes). MATERIAL AND METHODS: The type of the study was observational, analytical, cross sectional. Through bivariate statistical analysis calculating the Odds Ratio of each factor and Logistic Regression model was developed to obtain the risk by OR controlling the variables studied. RESULTS: 300 adolescents between 11 and 15 years old were studied, the prevalence of gynecomastia was 12.3 % (37 adolescents).
