La investigación es de tipo sustantiva y con diseño descriptivo correlacional; se contó con una muestra de 261 estudiantes con edades entre 18 y 29 años a quienes se les aplicó la Lista de Chequeo de Habilidades Sociales de Goldstein (2002) y el Test de Comportamientos Socialmente Responsables en estudiantes universitarios (TCSR), parte I de Davidovich et al. (2019). Los resultados indicaron que respecto a las habilidades sociales predomina el nivel alto con el 65.1% de los estudiantes; del mismo modo respecto al nivel del comportamiento socialmente responsable según dimensión, predomina el nivel medio con porcentajes que oscilan entre 47.5% y 55.2%. Finalmente se acepta la hipótesis general pues existe una correlación altamente significativa (r=.744; p<.01) directa y en grado alto entre las habilidades sociales y el comportamiento socialmente responsable

The investigation is of a substantive type and with a descriptive correlational design; there was a sample of 261 students between the ages of 18 and 29 was used to whom the Goldstein Social Skills Checklist (2002) and the Test of Socially Responsible Behaviors in University Students (TCSR), part I, by Davidovich et al. (2019) were applied. The results indicated that regarding social skills, the elevated level predominates with 65.1% of the students; in the same way, regarding the level of socially responsible behavior according to dimension, the medium level predominates with percentages that range between 47.5% and 55.2%.
