Se obtuvo como resultado que en cuanto a las habilidades sociales predomina el nivel bajo con un 63.7% de los adolescentes; del mismo modo se observa que el 43.8% de los participantes se ubican en el nivel medio de síntomas depresivos. Se concluye que se acepta la hipótesis general pues existe relación negativa y altamente significativa (p<.01) entre las habilidades sociales y los síntomas depresivos en Adolescentes de Secundaria de una Institución Educativa Privada de Trujillo – 2021

The sample population consisted of 80 students from said institution, which the questionnaires Social Skills Scale – EHS and the Beck Depression Inventory were administered. BDI – II. The result was that in terms of social skills, the low level predominates with 63.7% of the adolescents; Likewise, it is observed that 43.8% of the participants are located at the average level of depressive symptoms.
