Conocer las causas y las formas de abordarlo facilita la aplicación de tratamiento por el docente en el aula y por los padres en el hogar. Se hacen recomendaciones de cómo superar el problema de aprendizaje del niño mediante una serie de propuestas de especialistas con sus publicaciones contribuyen a facilitar la labor de los docentes y padres de familia.
