Sumario:The present work of investigation was elaborated by the purpose of determining what strategy of communication it allows to improve the institutional image of the Municipality distrital of Cachicadán - province of Chuco's Santiago. With the determination of this work, the company will put emphasis in the most relevant points at which not they being employed correctly, allowing a good image inside the Institution. For the present research report the design was in use descriptive - transeccional, statistician; and a survey was applied to the population of 4795 citizens; with a sample of 363; as technology of investigation. In the surveys applied to the personnel and citizens of the institutional one of the Municipality distrital of Cachicadán. According to table 3.1.2 that 42% result that communication affects the image of the Municipality according to workers, likewise according to table 3.1.5 that 38% show indifference if they provide good services to improve the image according to workers, finally it is possible to establish that the communication strategy allows to significantly improve the institutional image. As a conclusion of the same: Within the communication strategies Below The Line (BTL), such as Facebook, website, twitter allows to improve the institutional image of the Municipality of Cachicadán- Province of Santiago de Chuco 2017.
